Boston (New England) is a nice place to live, and there's plenty of nice eateries that showcase/boast that incredible iconic regional dish, the creamy and vivacious clam-chowder.

Two schoolteachers and their adopted daughter Sive live in a nice Boston apartment and spend their lives in quiet happiness, taking home-videos of their enriching shared spaces and walks to the park.

Their apartment is simply quaint and comfy, and it boasts an incredible back-side view in a Boston real-estate area that's surprisingly idyllic while being quite affordable, which is perfect for this small Catholic family enjoying their little American Dream, a piece of the proverbial pie!

The husband/father is Amlan Satan, an Algerian-American math teacher who studies the matrix-math of number theory synchronicity and its relation to metered regularity of value repetitions.

The daughter, Sive, is a jovial young girl with a love of cartoons (Nickelodeon!) and special camera-toys which entreat her fascination with daydreams and space ornaments.

The wife/mother is Isobel O'Meara, a woman who moved to Boston from Belfast and started teaching at St. Mary's as a music-teacher, which is where/how she met her future-husband in Boston, Amlan Satan.

St. Mary's is a very nice private-school in the Boston (New England) area and affords the quaint 'Satan family' a nice opportunity to entreat their shared interests in education and local Catholic culture. Amlan and Isobel adopted their daughter Sive after starting to teach at St. Mary's around the same time in Boston and decided their shared interests in education would fuel their courtship and pursuit of teaching as a life-profession in New England.

AMLAN: Teaching at St. Mary's makes us feel like we're close to the ideals of modern education spaces.

ISOBEL: It's a terrific school/environment affording us the space/time to cast imaginations about American life!

The Satans now have a vintage/classic Canon home-video recorder which they got on eBay and use every Saturday to take videos of themselves dancing and enjoying life while Amlan watches Notre Dame games on NBC or on YouTube.

There's only one 'strange secret' this quaint/ideal American nuclear family in Boston share in this otherwise 'typical' American Dream. Every now and then, they notice (out their window) a funny black cat walking by on the street outside their apartment. This black cat seems to be homeless and always wanders around and outside their window...rather regularly. The Satans have honestly started wondering if in this 'aura' of the American Dream, this 'black cat messenger' is somehow an 'other-worldly' messenger of some strange 'consciousness' regarding 'unexplored' darkness.

AMLAN: You've gotta believe this fortune-symbolic 'black cat' is some Boston street witch!
ISOBEL: You want to see it on Halloween, but we see it year-round, and it makes us chuckle somehow.
SIVE: I want to pretend it has a 'real' home and people who call the black cat their real buddy.
