Supermarket AngelA Story by Abishai100A 'fan' presentation of what makes the convenience-imagination behind the 'supermarket' trip reflective of a living date.
A simple lifestyle vignette about the convenience-imagination behind the modern supermarket. Enjoy!

==== The supermarket in modern times has become a symbol of convenience imagination and a godsend for those looking for quick trips for supplies and goods and materials and of course food they require for the working-week for energy and refurbishments. ![]() The supermarket isn't glamorous or celebrity, but it's the thing that no one wants to admit is simply a convenience for modern life. A person might be a wealthy celebrity and have a personal assistant/housekeeper who makes trips to the local supermarket to get goods/foods for them, liberating them from the need to make a public appearance, but even these celebrities appreciate why the supermarket is a diamond in the rough and a symbol of lifestyle hopes. ![]() You never know if you'll see a 'supermarket-angel' on your next trip to your local supermarket in the United States. Such an 'angel' might be a truly beautiful woman who's not a celebrity or politician or any important 'media-figure' but is indeed a stunning civilization princess of beauty who makes you feel all the more excited to get to the supermarket to do your convenient week-long shopping! This is a great charm. ![]() Of course, a 'supermarket-angel' need not be a beautiful woman but indeed a terrific and cute family child or infant who's with his/her parents during the convenient and godsend shopping-trip, and you appreciate their little smiles/cheers which brighten the shopping experience, reminding you basically why commerce is a thing of fortune. ![]() Then again, you might notice someone truly unusual/interesting at the supermarket. Perhaps this eccentric 'genius' is someone in a business-suit making their way home from their law-firm or a man in a Halloween costume or theater-company making his way home after a shopping-trip and still costumed. Such a 'supermarket-angel' reminds you why consumerism is never predictable, despite its convenience defintion! ![]() Going to the supermarket is simply a toast to the pilgrimage for consumerism and lifestyle. It's a nod to the special magic of everyday life and the amenity of everyday living facilitated by the hard-work you did to earn the needed money to get the supplies/foods you need conveniently, all in one place. It's therefore an 'ideal' place to make you feel grateful that you're not unemployed! ![]() Maybe that's why taking stock or noticing a 'supermarket-angel' during your shopping-trip for the upcoming working-week makes you feel all 'bright' in your head, reminding you why humanity is simply 'colored' with the tones/consciousness of capitalism's light-side --- the 'quality' of living sanity. ![]() You might even meet a gorgeous woman who's single and unmarried and end up courting her and end up marrying this person. Thank goodness you decided to go to the supermarket on that day, the day you met your own 'supermarket-angel' and decided that s/he would add some revelation to your awareness of the conveniences of civilization's special aisles of rewarded labors...and little greed! ![]() Maybe you go home after your shopping-trip and take stock or pray or meditate as you stare out your house-window and feel grateful or peaceful or calm, simply because you have your thankful job/occupation which has enabled you to go to the supermarket or enjoy a pension or social benefits fortune which facilitates the 'dream' of simply being alive! ![]() The post-9/11 era of antiterrorism concerns makes us 'wary' of the destabilization of everyday traffic and commercial comforts/amenities and of course supermarket conveniences! This is why we think of the 'danger' of the world when we feel grateful for the comforts of the supermarket trips every time we wonder what makes life in civilization so dramatic...or dangerous. ![]() Work is hard work. It pays off. It reminds you of the rewards of getting the pizza/Pine-Sol you need for that working-week. You feel so glad you have a job when you got to your supermarket, and when you're at work, you might be 'secretly' daydreaming about that certain/special 'supermarket-angel' you saw during your non-work trip. ![]() Maybe you'll get a movie-inspired fan-item or toy which captures the drama and fantasy behind the living society which we call civilization which erects special forms of social imagination memories. These toys remind us why shopping is like home. ![]() There's magic in a supermarket. There's no real reason you couldn't believe your encounter with a 'supermarket-angel' can be well-likened to a sighting or 'construction' of an imagination of an incredible being or mythical sprite/angel like a faerie or an elf or a mermaid or a gnome! After all, perception is simply one-half design. ![]() When I go to the supermarket, I think of the great joy of finding the terrific brand of frozen-pizza that I so crave/need, and I think of getting home and heating it up on my Panasonic and watching a YouTube video while eating the food fresh/hot. This was all possible because of my convenient trip to the supermarket. This is the American Dream. ![]() So go ahead and get a fantastic fairy-tale comic book to remind you why your convenience-imagination trip to the local supermarket reminded you why your hypothetical encounter with a 'supermarket-angel' made you feel like an 'other-worldly' alien, visitor, journalist, or even (dare say!)...storyteller. ![]() There's no 'shame' in wanting to take a quick instant (photo) of your trip to your supermarket, since, after all, you're 'secretly' charmed inside while believing you'd encounter your 'supermarket-angel' during this convenience-imagination trip for the work-week or living life. Isn't this why the Polaroid was invented in the first place? ![]() "A person buying ordinary products in a supermarket is in touch with his deepest emotions" (John Kenneth Galbraith). ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2022 Abishai100 |
