Narrated offbeat charm-tale of an offbeat man whose encounter with an unusual 'pretty woman' at a supermarket intrigues his sense of distance(s).

"
Signing off with a very fun WalMart romance fable, since I've been working on various supermarket fables/concepts and generated a series or so, and I wanted to offer up one more before retiring. Thanks so much for reading,

I go to WalMart every two Sundays a month, sometimes with my mom on the East Coast, and I take happiness in the simple comforts of convenience-access to the bright lights of shopping for the lifestyle-goods that fill my weeklong week with the amenity that defines my personal American dream of living nice and easy with my mom and writing comic book art online. In fact, WalMart almost became my special homage to the splendor of capitalism taken for granted in North America.

However, something extraordinary happened one Sunday and soon many Sundays thereafter at this North American WalMart I'd frequent for convenient lifestyle-goods shopping. On this special Sunday, I noticed a very beautiful dark-haired woman who looked Mediterranean or Algerian or something! Now, I'd been working as an Interpol-relations office blood-diamond operationalist in Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) through cyber-intelligence channels in my 'double-life' from the East Coast (when I'd not been 'veiling' this James Bond work with my comic book online art!) and wondered if this 'dark-woman' was some intentional 'spy' sent to seduce me into thinking there's something very 'normal' or courtly about her, despite her obvious Earth-beauty.

I won't lie to you --- I was earnestly frightened by the 'apparition' of this amazing woman when I saw her at WalMart. I'd courted a few women in my life and each one is remembered in my heart with rather strong fondness, one being my high-school sweetheart (Angela) who'd become close-friends with my mom before we parted for college, when I headed to the Ivy League and she to California! However, this dark-woman (dark-haired!) seemed to be an 'apparition' and not a standard diary neighborhood daydream 'Earth-angel' or high-school sweetheart, with a sort of edgy twist to her demeanor, which made me wonder incidentally if she'd been a spy or 'bad-girl' sent to catch/sidetrack me, since I'd been working as a 'Bond-man' of blood-diamond intrigue from home while penning Dick Tracy and Carmen Sandiego comics online as my double-life veil on the East Coast.

I decided ultimately to approach this 'dark-woman' (dark-haired!) and told her I'd lived life with my mother at home on the East Coast as a comics-artist while 'perhaps' having a 'secret' double-life with Interpol-relations office in British Columbia or something but that I'd first want to know why an 'exotic' woman like herself would be found so 'regularly' at a local WalMart shopping super-center, certainly a nexus-matrix symbol of rather 'mundane' or pedestrian American life! She chuckled and told me she wasn't any kind of 'bad-girl' but in fact a foreigner who'd moved to the East Coast and sought the same amenities/convenience at WalMart that brought someone like me/myself --- an 'offbeat-man' of seemingly straightforward walking intent if with a 'dash' of personal brooding --- to the very-same shopping area! I knew then that I'd met someone who'd become my special WalMart 'angel' of luck.
