A darkened fable about sports-craftsmanship/arts and an American Dream 'detour' signaling unusual distancing.

I've been collecting Devils (ice-hockey) fan stuff for sometime now, and I've lived in New Jersey for all my life, and I got married to a Devils (ice-hockey) fan named Shelbye and we've moved into a Haddon-Heights condo and I make ice-hockey artworks for the Devils for a commission, and Shelbye's a high-paid lawyer in Haddonfield. Every month, she gets me a new Christmas-Devils sweater, and I keep the collection now as a fan-trophy chest.

I used to place ice-hockey in high-school (Eastern), and what I gained most from this sportsman's experience is a 'deep' appreciation for the equipment and playgrounds that make this iconic Western sport a thing of magic and icy beauty, when executed with swift forms of teamwork, courage, speed, and humility.

SHELBYE: What I love most about my husband is that he's a serious ice-hockey fan, which is rare in times of capitalism.

We have a daughter together now, Elisha, and we're deeply in love and living in New Jersey with a magical 'drive' for sports-spirits and New Jersey Indian foods and Toys 'R Us. Elisa reminds us of the magic of life on Earth and 'what it takes' to make lemons turn into lemonade.

This story isn't about ice-hockey or sports-arts. It's about a strange deviance and social-control fable about my small family in NJ learning about Catholic 'drive' and awry magic. We walked into a crafts-store in NJ and noticed a very precious sculpted 'red-fairy' figurine and began to wonder if this artifact of modern beauty was something that would add 'spice' to our Haddon-Heights home. We decided to get the piece and it soon brought us great fortunes. We won the $15M lottery and purchased a Ford eco-sports car and stayed in NJ, but we'd moved into a villa.

We live happily, and I've not abandoned my works with Devils (ice-hockey) arts, but I continued to wonder if that red-fairy figurine brought us good turn in life or bad turns in imagination. I mean, did we not 'earn' this magical fortune? We certainly decided that the fortunes/money it brought us and the new life of riches was certainly welcomed! Perhaps this is really a tale of the 'American Dream' gone...distant.
