The Yellow Prince

A man in isolationist meditation, an 'ex-prince' of sorts, encounters a yellow faerie transformed into a lovely princess with a message of descendancy (in a forest).

Does civilization draw out our yearnings for escape? Here's a short inspired by Lord of the Flies. Enjoy,

A yellow faerie (winged miniature humanoid 'specter' of the forest with message of warning/wisdom) carried a special magic in the forest of Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) and would be discovered by a curious prince named Satan.

This lovely yellow faerie transformed herself into a human female princess and named herself Esha and would greet the prince Satan who'd been camping in the forest of Northern Ireland when he came across this vision of a woman and likened her to a terrific modern-day magazine-model or movie-star or cartoon-anime heroine with much 'worldly' shape!

ESHA: You have to look of an Ichabod Crane, young prince.
SATAN: My name's Satan and I'm not tracked by the Headless Horseman!
ESHA: Don't you find me beautiful, prince?
SATAN: How'd you know I'm a prince, lovely woman?
ESHA: I noticed your Sherlock Holmes like camping costume and guessed you're exploring.
SATAN: I'm trying to meditate on the nature of social intelligence in this rich forest!
ESHA: That's why I suspected you're more than just an 'average' explorer.
SATAN: I left behind my princely estate to think about the quality of forest-life, lovely woman.
ESHA: Well, It's nice I found you here in this rich forest area, and I'm wondering if you're lonely!
SATAN: You've guessed correctly; however, I'm simply taking mental notes on Thoreau's works.
ESHA: So, you're exploring the nuances of naturalism/escapism as philosophy then?
SATAN: Isolationism as a 'vehicle' for self-idealization and intelligence.
ESHA: What if I told you I was actually a 'yellow faerie' of magic with a message about courage?
SATAN: I'd believe you in this sensitive state-of-mind I'm in --- what would you say about my isolation?
ESHA: If I was a faerie, I'd comment that you seem like all you need is love!
SATAN: Perhaps that's true and you guessed it from my certainly obvious curious demeanor/appearance!

The prince and faerie-princess made love, and Satan would always consider her his special 'forest-muse' for his future work about abandoning the life of a prince in preference for the life of a hermetic sage, meditating on the intelligence-quotient of mankind and thinking about the qualities of Western civilization dilemmas such as sectarian warfare and blood-diamonds. He'd remember the princess Esha (the yellow faerie!) as a bringer of great romance in a time in his life when he'd been thinking about the 'borderline(s)' of simple consciousness depressions in Earth's sacred grounds, in a time of Wall Street, MTV, the Russo-Ukrainian War, and of course, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC)!

SATAN: What I'll remember most about that amazing yellow princess in the forest we made love was the 'aura' of luck.
