Menace is an underworld ghoul who's challenging a bright young man, a blood-diamond operationalist working in Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) and British Columbia (North America) to infiltrate piracy-gem traffic with Interpol-office(s) to prevent underground crimes from corrupting overground affirmative-action employment assistance program talks between Sinn Fein and Parliament favoring the young men of the Irish-Catholic underclass of 'troubled' Belfast 'spiritually endangered' by forms of criminal trespass!

MENACE: You strike me as a pensive 'Sherlock Holmes' of diamond-highways for Northern Ireland reform(s)!

AMLAN SATAN: You're right, Menace; I've been working 'covertly' as a 'Storm-Shadow' of sectarian economics.

MENACE: I challenge you in Boston Park to a game of chess...to determine if you need agenda-rotations.

AMLAN SATAN: You mean to 'determine' if my sense of confidence must be 'challenged' regarding my mission, eh?

MENACE: You strike me as a 'man' of great mysteries and missions, Satan.

AMLAN SATAN: I accept this strange (New England) challenge, Menace!

The 'twist' was that Satan possessed a shiny Upper-Deck Kerry Wood (Cubs) American baseball-rookie card, which he posted in cyber-blogs as 'symbolic' of the overground market-commerce/traffic spiritually 'appealing' in demand for the UK youth (Irish-Catholic underclass of 'troubled' Belfast) and could 'turn' the tide in youth-activity motivations and away from criminal enterprises (e.g., blood-diamond traffic). If Satan won the chess-match, he'd claim the 'right' to keep this diamond-treasure for his continued poverty-themed commerce/economics/market 'cyber-mission' relevant to UK (Belfast) sociopolitical imagination!

MENACE: I'll disguise myself as an 'old man' in Boston Park and we'll play each other in chess in public!
SATAN (Amlan): Alright; I'll wear my 'signature' Sherlock Holmes costume to create 'diagonal' theatrics!

Menace used his knight and queen and both bishops to create multiple lines of offensive attack, while Satan remained reserved/subdued and steadily brought out just one rook, one bishop, and his queen to create a simultaneous 'diagonal' offense motion and criss-cross (rook-queen) advance against Menace's pawn-line and poorer castling-maneuver to make a somewhat stabilizing back-line haven. The 'trick' Amlan used was a 'modern' one of basic piece-oriented board-orientation (chess!) position descent!

MENACE: How'd you beat me, you rascal Satan?
SATAN (Amlan): I simply balanced your aggression with my balanced position-parallels.

MENACE: I suppose you're now 'proud' to keep your Kerry Wood rookie-card!
SATAN: There's something more I want from you with this symbolic New England triumph!

MENACE: What's that?
SATAN: I want you to tell me the secret of 'bias' for adoring a special Irish-faerie avatar for my mission.

MENACE: So, you want to use a 'green-faerie' avatar for Northern Ireland 'unemployment' medicine prayers?

SATAN: Right!
MENACE: Alright, Mr. Cool; the 'secret' lies in the adoration of the 'green-faerie' as a simple messenger of nature.

SATAN: Awesome; thanks, my great challenger.

AMLAN SATAN: Newfound baseball-faerie tokens through chess-IQ facilitate cyber-blogs about Belfast kids in great dowry!

Satan retired after a live well-lived as a 'real-life' James Bond (or 'Sherlock Holmes'!) of Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) poverty-mission work facilitating improved relations between Catholics-Protestants, especially kids, and decided to read an iconic work of Irish descent every day before breakfast, in his distant Boston apartment. He'd earned a 'life' of dash.
