Matrix: New England

The "League of Shadows" attempts to outshine the dark underworld of Boston gem-piracy with an inventive form of dreaming!

I really loved the way that last Matrix-inspired tale turned out, so here's another quick similarity, once more inspired by The Matrix (Keanu Reeves). Enjoy,

New England is deceptively complex all of a sudden, perhaps because of the array of traffic-grid complications in Boston, where many colleges/universities filling city-streets with student thoroughfare, is complicated by blood-diamond smugglers who've turned this area into a hellmouth, an invisible 'snake-ladder' of congestion.

However, a team of 'faeries' have arrived from Earth-forests, disguised as humanoids and working as a 'unit' of vigilantes against this 'matrix' of evil in Boston and calling themselves the League of Shadows (DC Comics)!

The agents of darkness in this horridly transformed/mutated New England area of Boston are skeleton-warriors who resemble 'slick' businessmen or pedestrians or fatcats but are in fact the perpetrators of what makes this modern US city a 'thing' of strange criminality.

LEAGUE OF SHADOWS: Our 'tools' of heroics include the microscopic 'eyes' of city-scape magnification for gem-purifications.

The members of the League of Shadows hail from all 'walks' of life and are messengers of the dastardly daring of contending with the barons of dark gem-piracy underworld traffic which just might 'erode' our sense of modern Western cinematic ornaments!

These members are great trained 'warriors' who're doing what they can to invade the labyrinth of the blood-diamond agents in Boston (New England) by suiting themselves as 'costumed cops' of great vision and handsome expressions, as if they'd be 'celebrities' of the capitalism grids.

Some of the members look outright like vigilantes or detectives with a neo-gothic 'edge' to them, which is sanitizing, given that their ultra-vigilance work is one of masquerade, infiltration, and trickery, since they'd have to roam around subway stations and parks at night and make contact with blood-diamond gems all the while re-presenting themselves as 'artists' of the diamond exchange.

A few of them are actually stage-performing thespians and music-ballet dancers who're performing, as they claim, shows in the opera-house or park about diamond mining and diamond jewelry but secretly seeking to befriend the blood-diamond 'insiders' and persuade them to lead them to the showrooms of their silos, to the jewelry-stores exploited to hold their 'conflict-zone' gems from Hell.

Even other members are simply computer geeks who can invade and intercept communiques between gem-middlemen and the baron fatcats by 'hacking' into the corporate-buildings/apartments of individuals who're relaying messages about the routes of blood-diamond hybridization and substitutions with regular gems, to make the smuggling invisible to the careless eyes!

LEAGUE OF SHADOWS: We're planting some water-guns by the trees in Boston Park, filled with acid, to burn blood-diamonds.

BOSTON GAZETTE: Goldfinger's blood-diamonds were stolen and burned with water-guns filled with acid (left in the park!).

LEAGUE OF SHADOWS: After deforming Baron Goldfinger's prestige in the New England cyber-media, we rode to drive-ins.

Sure, this work isn't glamorous, but what it's providing to New England is a freshening 'sense' of wrought capitalism ideals for a modern era otherwise 'beset' by the manmade depression of consumerism gone awry!

LEAGUE OF SHADOWS: You never know where we are (or who we are!), but what we're certain is that Boston is beautiful!

BARON GOLDFINGER: If we catch these New England 'rascals' looting our aura, we'll pin them to the metal of darkness.
