Amlan and Dera met on a summer's eve in Boston (New England), when the two had been bicycling around the pond by the summer night skyline of the fabled city of students. Amlan and Dera were both Harvard graduates and didn't know each other while they'd been in school together but suddenly met with serendipity in the park and instantly fell in love. Amlan loved Dera's smile and sense of affable friendliness, and Dera liked Amlan's taste in bicycles and love of Mother Nature.

FRIEND: These two look like movie-stars of fashion-models for today's world, since they both 'capture' an IQ of natural magic.

The two had become fast-lovers and eventually got married, just one year after they met in Boston Park that glorious summer's eve. Amlan gifted Dera his special princely-inherited gems which he'd procured during his childhood life in politically-troubled Belfast, Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) with his father who'd been eventually killed by a stray UVF-bullet. Amlan moved West (United States) and kept his princely gems, hoping he'd find some great 'love' of his life to gift them to and become a champagne-toasting fond-friend (and lover!) of life's endurance and romance storytelling.

Things weren't all well in paradise, because a rival of Amlan's father, Thomas, had become a prominent movie-star and had also become a ruthless underworld/underground 'blood-diamond' baron-pirate, smuggling 'conflict-zone' gems from Sierra Leone into British Columbia and New England. It was Amlan's father (Amit) whose work against future blood-diamond investment(s) in economically-complex Northern Ireland that drew Baron Thomas' literal ire, and he now followed/tracked Amlan to New England and discovered the 'romance-prince' of inherited 'gems' had become wed to a lovely American 'creature' (Dera) and plotted to destroy them, driving them apart through threats and then killing them in the beach and drowning their bodies in the water.

However, Amlan and Dera were in love and wouldn't let this ruthless 'celebrity-baron' ruin their true love of American dreams, cinema, and society. They befriended a Park security-guard and 'tricked' Baron Thomas into going to the Park with them at night, on another summer night, and when he started talking about his intention to exact revenge on Amlan and his 'darling' because of the challenge his father (Amit) posed when he was a child in Algeria, the Park security-guard (a bike-cop named Leo!) heard the omen while hiding behind a tree Amlan designated and then jumped out when Baron Thomas pulled out a silencer-pistol, about to shoot Amlan in the forehead. Leo stunned the 'good Baron' with his electric-rod and carried him off to Arkham Asylum, and Amlan/Dera fled to a life of marriage and destiny in Brussels (sprouts)!
