Devil's Ice: The NJ Druid(s)*

Narrated portrait of US ice-hockey fanfare-spirits tying into an 'unusual' Garden State lucky-charm fable about 'opportune' superstitious drywall(s).

"
A huge opus-homage to my amazing favorite ice-hockey team I cheer for on TV, since I more-or-less grew up the awesome 'Garden State' --- the NJ Devils.

DISCLAIMER: I do not have any 'official' ties to the Devils organization or its products/brands and present this only as a work of 'sports-fanfiction' dramatic.

The Prudential Center ice-hockey stadium showcases the awesome NJ Devils ice-hockey team which has become synonymous with excellent sports in North America (East Coast, USA).

Some celebrities who like cheering on their Devils-rivals may travel all the way down to the Prudential Center to catch, say a Bruins game against New Jersey's own Brodeur!

I've been a Devils fan all my life with my wife Linda who keeps a special 'fortune-faerie' figurine in our house in Haddonfield.

Of course, I collect more 'manly' Devils fangear such as my favorite favorite favorite summer-hat.

I've designed special red-and-white sarees for Devils-team color(s) spirits in reflection of the 'cool' texture of ice-hockey's signature swift and elegant method of sportsmanship --- a tribute to 'natural' dance.

My dog Bartleby has an amazing Devils-insignia autumn jacket, which I have him wear when we watch the games together!

Devils ice-hockey video-games are great pastimes, and in fact, ice-hockey video-games have become solely-synonymous with the pure greatness of the 'idea' of cyber-dance.

Ice-hockey doesn't just come in the form of pro-rink gaming but also in table-top games found everywhere in bowling-alleys and arcades across the Garden State of NJ/USA.

Yes, the NJ Devils have in fact won the Stanley Cup in the past, and cheering them on is a great treat for the fanfare behind modern organized activity, friendly for both TV...and cards.

If you live in Haddonfield, like Linda and me, you'll discover why Devils spirits reflect the Catholic-area's great cheering of the romance behind ice-hockey and democracy! It's the Garden State.

So this story is about how I got Linda this special table-fan toy for her as we had our first child, a baby-daughter named Elena, and she thought the fan had a special mystical charm attached to it, and if we turned it on, the Devils would always win! Shockingly, she's right --- they've never lost when I turn it on to watch the Devils ice-hockey on TV in Haddonfield (NJ).

LINDA: I made some special red-velvet pastries for our Devils Stanley Cup viewing on Haddonfield-TV (when they won!).

If we have a son, I'll get him the Upper-Deck Martin Brodeur star-rookie card. This is a great fan-consciousness for American ice-hockey, and it reminds us why there's so much candid-camera talk about the iconic USA triumph over the USSR in the Olympics.

Linda's sister is a pro-Devils cheerleader and doesn't believe us when she insists to her sister, "When we turn that table-top fan on to watch/cheer the ice-hockey games on TV, they simply/always win, darling."

So, I took Linda to a PJ Whelihan's dinner, a great Irish pub and restaurant in the Garden State after they won another Stanley Cup finals after we turned on our 'magic' table-top red fan-toy, which had become our local NJ ice-hockey legend now.

LINDA: My husband's become a costumed nut with that table-top fan toy for Devils ice-hockey cheer(s), but I fear an omen.

So then, I took Linda to a St. Patrick's Day parade in NJ after the Devils were storming to an outstanding season in a time otherwise with rather morbid gray-skies created by global-warming related temperature/climate intolerability in the Garden State, and I thanked my table-top fan toy for the day's charm, folks.

LINDA: Cheers for the Devils ice-hockey 'thing' with this table-top fan toy I fear will bring a 'dark duty' for US dragons.
