Purple SunsetA Story by Abishai100A real-life 'James Bond' works for a special "Robin Hood" feat in Europe tied to some nifty art-underworld darkness!
A heist-underworld 'parody' of sorts inspired loosely by the exquisite film Purple Noon. Enjoy,

==== Amlan Satan studied at Dartmouth where he learned about empirical psychology before becoming an Interpol-relations/office(s) blood-diamond infiltrations-agent in Northern Ireland (United Kingdom), sharpening his 'uncanny' skills at the art of the heist for interceptions of piracy-gem storages in bank safe-boxes corrupting the Euro-gem matrix. He then left his position to vacation by Amsterdam. ![]() AMLAN SATAN: I have my eye on a special Kombat-X modern-art painting/rendering of a warrior-princess (Kitana) - $20M. ![]() Now, why, you might ask/wonder would a blood-diamond operationalist suddenly seek to move to the Netherlands to choreograph a potential million-dollar art-heist, of an iconic modern-art painting belonging to an albeit 'corrupt' capitalism-baron (Ion) rumored to be tied to blood-diamond traffic in British Columbia? Well, Amlan grew up with his widow-mother in Algeria learning to survive on the streets as a pickpocket before getting enough money to move with her to America where he was admitted into Dartmouth. He promised himself a life of adventure in modern times, because of his hard-wrought childhood years, and he felt he'd earned this special "Robin Hood" laurel to complete the 'fancy' deed. ![]() AMLAN SATAN: I'll walk into the Dutch museum claiming I'm a divinity-student requiring 'private-time' in the Kitana-exhibit. ![]() While staking-out the museum by afternoon and sunset hours, he encountered and met the 'ideal' couple to involve in his little scheme. He found a Dutch banker-couple who'd been investing in art and was complimenting the Kitana work and greeted them and became their fast friend, though he kept his 'James Bond' life a secret. He had a special skill of using magic-tricks and entertainment-charms to 'woo' people, and he did so as he got the young wealthy Dutch couple very drunk and persuaded the husband to escort him to the art museum on the day of the heist while his wife waited at home in their shared Amsterdam apartment. ![]() On the day of the heist, Amlan told the man (the husband - Dirk) to wait outside while he went inside the art museum (alone!) to make an amateur-artist's quick-sketch 'copy' of the Kitana work. While inside the Kitana-exhibit, Satan told the attending guardsman to close the exhibit door for just 10 minutes while he performed a 'stylish' silhouette sketch (private-study moment!) and stood inside the vacated room with him. Once the guard closed the door, Amlan whispered in his ear, "The painting in the exhibit, belonging to a blood-diamond baron named Ion, is a fake/stolen, and I have the original (in my briefcase, and I want you to help me make the switch before the baron arrives here with the media for a photo/news session involving the disclosure of the piece as a 'replica' for an underground humor!" The guardsman, very amused, was further 'cajoled' when Amlan produced a fake Interpol-office(s) ID-card, claiming Ion had been under some piracy-gem surveillance(s) in Holland. He then proceeded to make his artist's sketch of the Kitana-work and walked out with the original (stolen!) in his briefcase! ![]() He then greeted his waiting-friend, the husband of the wealthy-banker couple (Dirk) and took him on a boat-ride during which he threw over the shocked man, telling him he had to perform a sacrifice because his wife had been under suspicion of ties to a blood-diamond baron and that he'd be 'rescued' by an approaching security boat. He then sped to the wife's apartment where she was waiting. ![]() Once inside the apartment, he told the wife (Emilia) that he had a Kitana-painting belonging to a blood-diamond baron and needed her to take the work to the Dutch museum where her husband (Dirk) was waiting for him. He told her he'd been working all along with Interpol-relations office(s) to subvert Ion's piracy-traffic in Holland. Amlan then kissed Emilia tenderly for her help/support, and he honestly wondered what his life would've been like had he found a normal family-life instead of a life lived on the underground. He stayed in Dirk and Emilia's apartment for about 10 minutes after Emilia sped off to find her (waiting!) husband at the art-museum, having given her one of the Kitana-work replicas he still had in his briefcase. ![]() When Emilia got to the museum, she found Dirk waiting there for someone/her and was drenched in water and in shock and expecting an Interpol-media rep and greeted his wife instead who then told the art curator and guardsman that she and Dirk had been working alongside Amlan Satan in some bizarre Kitana-art delivery and brought the painting (replica) with her which Amlan gave to her. The curator/guardsman realized that this entire 'operation' was some kind of fancy art-work switch designed to bring out Baron Ion in a media statement regarding his 'foolish' forays into possible piracy-gem conspiracy and laughed out loud. Meanwhile, Amlan Satan flew off on KLM to JFK after making an underground transfer of the $20M-Kitana work for a cash-account in Zurich for an Interpol-communique. ![]() AMLAN SATAN: I'll write to my cohorts in Northern Ireland for 'developments' in art-world piracy-gem crimes for damage(s). ![]() He was arrested one year later in British Columbia and interrogated about his 'sincere' ties to continued blood-diamond investigation(s) and yielded the appropriate 'reports' to have his history cleared as Ion's piracy-networks were ironically 'unfolding' in Brussels, Auckland, and Haddonfield! ![]() INTERPOL: Blood-diamond corruption today threatens the world-gem exchange and makes for terrorism-woe! ![]() ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2022 Abishai100 |
