Faerie Law Guide: Manhattan Detention(s)!A Story by Abishai100A 'dioramic' opus on modern mysticism and its imprints on the 'drywall(s)' of capitalism-systems and Western/American dramatists.
An opus on what makes mysticism/metaphysics in this new era of singularly inventive capitalism a signpost for ironically 'charmed' civilization dispositions, inspired by FairyTale: A True Story (Harvey Keitel). Enjoy,

==== I've been studying 'faeries' (mystical mythical tiny immortal winged humanoids from Earth-forests with messages of warning/wisdom), who've been claimed to have been 'sighted' by numerous people across world history, with one symbolic case from 20th-Century Europe known as the 'Cottingley Fairies' case which drew the attention of writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author of Sherlock Holmes. ![]() I've been studying faeries since I was at Dartmouth (New England), where I studied cognitive science and visual psychophysics phenomena related to the mind's arrows of forming perception holes in times of spatio-temporal gaps, linked to illusion and depth perception as well as anticipation/apprehension fears linked to fear responses. That's when I started to think about theosophy, the study of relations between philosophical 'subjects' for macro-consciousness inquiries, and its impact on modern civilization in the emerged era of capitalism-labyrinth driven 'street-intelligence' and ambition. I became a faerie-scholar and detective and became a fan of 'electronica' music in the late 1990s, which because of its hi-speed syncopation signatures and rolling light drum-cadence, almost 'reflects' the hi-speed luminous batting thin wings of a tiny faerie! I became something of a 'faerie-philosopher' and began to write blogs on the Net about casting myself as a modern-day theosophically-oriented 'Sherlock Holmes' in North America. ![]() I got this book on the background/layering of Theosophy as a formal study/inquiry and started applying my readings to the investigation(s) of faerie-literature/mythology/lore. I began to think about my own investments/interests in 'electronica' music and why/how it reflects the signatures of faerie-like intuitions/cadence of modernism civilization geometries of hi-speed electronic communications/commerce. I realized that I possessed a 'gifted' imagination of faerie-inquiry, and I started to wonder if I was somehow some kind of humanoid-transformed 'half-faerie' born onto the Earth to 'serve' as a legalese/academic 'advocate' of faerie-study or theosophical 'defense' of outrageous modern metaphysics curiosity. ![]() Let's face it folks, the modern era is all about the casting of commercial vanities for the amenity or luxury of Western/capitalism consumerism and magazine-culture dance/lyrics catering to a media-broadcast era of high-profit and high-speed lifestyle indulgence(s). This isn't necessarily 'evil' but it does lend itself to the 'neglect' of classical metaphysical approaches to the appreciation of capitalism's rather 'stunningly' exotic face of living diary-like confidence! ![]() I've been working alongside a gypsy-lawyer from Transylvania, a Romanian-American named 'Ezzy' who, like me, is studying the modern theosophical legal advocacy of faerie-inquiry or metaphysics curiosity for modern civilization symbolism/storytelling and like me believes she too herself may be some kind of humanoid-transformed Earth-born half-faerie 'creature' meant to 'serve' as a messenger of mythology/intelligence magazine-culture relevant capitalism system(s) diplomat (e.g., Carmen Sandiego!). After all, this is a time of great photography-bent society (e.g., Facebook) divinations! ![]() ME (Amlan Satan): Let's look at the flowery of Romanian music/dance as reflective of faerie-curiosity on Earth! EZZY: True; the Romanian folk-dance shapes/rituals do cast human fascination with outrageous synchronicity. ME: This synchronized 'cadence' of folk-movement parallels the rhythms of capitalism-systems electric-logic, no? EZZY: Sure, it's why we Westerners celebrate electric-grid 'dream' movies like Tron (Jeff Bridges). ME: Well, perhaps all this fascination with 'anthropology' imprints onto faerie-inquiries about folk-digits. EZZY: We may have to 'defend' the faerie fascination as if we're 'defending' Romanian folk-dance sovereignty! ME: Sure; we don't want 'academic exploitation' of the fantastic in any anthropological inquiry about lyrical ornamentations. ![]() What Ezzy and I hoped to 'defend' was the quality of nature and mysticism in the study of faerie-existence as a curiosity about the quality of civilization study itself. After all, the tendency of man is to liken any 'discovery' to some 'market-oriented' commodity, and we don't want metaphysics or folk-theosophy to be equated with strict capitalism. ![]() I decided to try a special case alongside Ezzy in Manhattan involving an NYU law-student's claim that while defending a fired whistleblower who claimed he 'sighted' a real-life faerie in New York. ![]() CLIENT: My wife, Asian, loves gold-and-shiny saree fashions which now haunt me about my faerie sightings, counselors. ME: Well, certainly you seem to be predisposed to appreciation of the faerie aesthetic given your burdens of capitalism. EZZY: Perhaps you're hallucinating faerie-magic while embracing capitalism as a living 'fashion' in New York, man! ![]() In this Manhattan case, the client (James Wyndham) claimed his 'belief' he sighted a real faerie in New York had no bearing on his reliability as a witness for a corporate corruption accusation in Manhattan while working alongside a diligent NYU law student (James Bearden). Ezzy and I defended Mr. Wyndham in this now-famous NY law-trial, as we stated to the hypnotized members/jury of the Manhattan court, "The existence of faerie-creatures as 'real world messengers' of theosophical hope or enlightenment or capitalism's easing of pressure(s) has no bearing on a real New Yorker's overburdened worry that he's also (simultaneously) an 'American witness' of the 'darkness' of capitalism's complex geometric 'dollar' face in modern civilization; and hence, perhaps faeries are only as 'real' as our vigilance regarding commercial vanities...and descent!" ![]() ME: Maybe faeries play with neon racquets in New York, darling. EZZY: I think you and I are real humanoid-faeries, advocates of consumerism defense for the good of civilization. ![]() A pronounced member of the Royal British Actor's Company in London decided to form a special Theosophical society after this now-famous Manhattan law-trial involving 'celebrity' whistleblower Mr. Wyndham, claiming, "This 'inventive' age of media-broadcast commercial bridging behooves us to 'seek-out' the qualities of socialized distance(s)...and open democracy!" ![]() ME: Maybe capitalism is a glassy 'chess game' moving us to become more expressive about fantasy! EZZY: I still think faeries are real and that you and I are Earth-born faerie-humanoids for advocacy of 'sanity' and magic. ME: Well, thank goodness we've the Western 'amenity' of chess-secured social governance...and democracy. EZZY: Maybe faeries adore chess! ![]() This is a 'case' mostly for the 'youth' of Western civilization and the ornamentation of capitalism as a 'system' that will not veil or hide the more 'mystical' mind of humankind. There's plenty of room for faerie-lore in society for our kids, even as we mindlessly go shopping. After all, our kids adore commercial commodities with a special 'dollar' twist/charm like Lucky Charms breakfast cereal and Nickelodeon.com. ![]() ME: Alright, I believe I'm a humanoid-faerie like you, alongside you, defending civilization charms, darling. EZZY: We're the 'Mrs. and Mrs. Smith' of Western metaphysics legalese drawings...and dressings! ME: I wouldn't have thought my 'Western Catholic disposition' would draw me towards intrigue of storytelling. EZZY: Faerie-study is all about the 'nature' of wrought democracy and dollar-charmed drywall(s). ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2022 Abishai100 |
