Mannequin-XA Story by Abishai100Narrated fable about a psyche-man haunted by mannequins and believing he's some kind of 'witness' of civilization consciousness!
Weird/fun fable about a man claiming he's 'haunted' by the specter of energized mannequins in civilization, symbols/diadems of consciousness indulgences. Enjoy,

==== I've been going to the shopping-mall with my parents for some time now, ever since moving to North America from a politically unrestul area of the modern world. Everytime I'd go shopping, I'd notice and take stock like in a state of hypnosis over the collections of mannequins, clothing-design fashioned statues and dolls representing the store's merchandise and aesthetic. I started to fall in love with these figurines. ![]() Today, I'm a detective and mystery-writer and theosophy student who makes cyber-blogs about the quality of 'faerie' existence dialogue surrounding the potential realism behind cryptic creature 'hunts' on Earth, and I post blogs with myself dressed as a modern 'Sherlock Holmes' of the mystique of immortality, and I won the Pulitzer two years ago for a searing look at how local ice-hockey heroes doubling as blood-diamond Robin Hoods (masked!) became 'mannequins' of a new-era capitalism vigilantism. ![]() So, where did I develop this 'keen' interest in the metaphysical realism behind the 'doors' of perception regarding the 'other-side' of humanism existence? Perhaps it was the action-immersion of the cyber-era 'video-game' that deepened me into the ethereal world of synthesized fantasies/adventures and gave me a keen eye for the 'labyrinth' of the duality between reality and fiction and between normality and danger. This is how I became a 'Sherlock Holmes' of civilization! ![]() So, one night, after a serious online tourney experience with Mortal Kombat X, a combat video-game of immense cult-popularity and underground fanfare/media, I decided to take a bike-ride into the forests outside Derry (Europe) while vacationing there to research faerie-lore in the spread-out United Kingdom. While jaunting through this somewhat 'darkened' modern woods area of Derry (outside Belfast!), I thought I caught a 'glimpse' of what I swore were 'faerie' visions of Mortal Kombat X female warrior-avatars ('characters') who'd become somehow 'real' in that UK forest right before my haunted eyes! ![]() When I came home, I decided to log online to eBay and purchased/ordered two very-fine handmade/custom-crafted MKX warrior-avatars, little figurine dolls, which resembled shopping-mall 'mannequins' I grew up hypnotized by while shopping with my parents, and the 'magic-package' arrived about 1 month later (since I didn't order express-mail service(s)). ![]() Two months later, I was self-admitted into Arkham Asylum, a center for the treatment of the criminally-insane, and while inside, I met a former media-figure ('celebrity') who'd been admitted there too. We conversed for hours, and he told me movies/films/documentaries he'd made about the IRA and Wall Street. He then broke down in tears and confided in me that he'd become 'obsessed' by shopping-mall mannequins! ![]() MY DIARY ENTRY: After departing from the Asylum, I began exploring the magic-value of shadow-puppetry exercises for life! ![]() So, two years later, after making some nice money on Wall Street, with Ford Motor Company (trading-symbol: F), I decided to get a rather 'dashing' MKX (Mortal Kombat X) wall-art collage and mounted it to remind me of the very greatness of the video-game series which inspired in me a special 'taste' for the transporting magic of mannequins and action-figures in the modern age of media/consumerism. ![]() I still have those two MKX action-figurine/dolls in my current house, and every now and then, I really can't say for sure, I can almost 'swear' I can hear them whisper to me. ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2022 Abishai100 |
