After 9/11, the world was on-edge about commercial traffic securities and sanity, and a young idealistic journalist and comics-writer (Amlan Satan) wanted to hype the post-9/11 era optimism towards a virtual-fighting graphics video-game franchise (Mortal Kombat) and why it'd help people transcend the raw fear of the era of anti-commerce destabilization and street-violence.

AMLAN SATAN: We're using the standard media-matrix of imagery for commerce to cast a new 'genre' for youth-energy.

Amlan Satan is a modern optimist, and he's using the special cyber-forums/arenas for Mortal Kombat fanfare/spirit(s) to cast this inventive ang highly 'visual' fighting-game to promote ideas among youngsters across Western civilization of the media/entertainment value of creative activity-alternatives to real-world violence with acting-out on video-game interfaces.

AMLAN SATAN: What we do, we do for the heart/mind of the youth of the West who're our messengers of dollars/democracy!

Now, the Mortal Kombat series/franchise had become symbolic/reflective of 'outstanding' and 'incredible' cyber-storyboarding and graphics-interface based entertainment, drawing in youngsters to comics, movies, cyber-games and tournaments, and of course toys, costumes, and action-figures!

AMLAN SATAN: I'll cast myself (even) as a Mortal Kombat avatar (Cyrax-triborg/cyborg) for street-spirits about youth-recruits.

He had this 'fantastic' Mortal Kombat trading-cards collection which he'd be able to cast/use as a terrific socialized symbol of media-entertainment driven youth activity and teamwork and shared cyber-space/gaming. This was a wholly original form of socialized playspace, and it was an alternative to crime and gang-related street-violence for teens and their younger siblings.

Amlan Satan kept his Mortal Kombat trading-cards in a special Zurich safe-box, which he'd be able to boast was a 'toast' of the modern democratic/capital 'interest' to safeguard intellectual/personal 'treasures' as trophies of socialized activity for post-9/11 era youth programs.

AMLAN SATAN: We're organizing special paintball tourneys for parents of our Mortal Kombat youth-clubs, so they can join-in!

The collection of gold-bronze mannequins in New England shopping-centers for the opening convention of Satan's special/nifty Mortal Kombat cyber-club would complement his new program for Western advertising, and he'd shown up with some of his awesome Kitana trading-cards as he took photos of these incredible shining commerce-dolls. That's when something 'truly' magical happened for Amlan.

One of the mannequins came to life and claimed to Amlan Satan that she was the Outworld portal-visiting 'faerie' specter/spirit of Kitana, the blade-fan wielding princess-warrior 'avatar' from Mortal Kombat. He couldn't believe what he'd been hearing now, since he was indeed lonely amidst all this ambitious work with Mortal Kombat, but he wondered if his immersion in magazine-culture had given him a strange new shocking 'vision' of romantic telepathy!

KITANA: Don't you believe me, Satan?
AMLAN: Maybe I'm too obsessed with just this New England shopping-mall, lovely lady of apparition.

KITANA: You must believe me; this shopping space is more than just a 'capitalism' reserve, you know?

AMLAN: Maybe you're a government-agent with some 'ad-agenda about antiterrorism or something!
KITANA: Look around you, in this mall...it's as magical and real as I am.

AMLAN SATAN (Mortal Kombat Diary): I just can't think of why I believe in this now, but Kitana's mannequin has come to life!

MORTAL KOMBAT FANZINE: Amlan's married Kitana...is this a time of great professional 'celebrity' for our beloved 'Cyber-Dr.'?

What will be the next chapter in this amazing fantasy-story about video-game fanfare which has 'elongated' into an unimaginable 'daydream' about 'magical' detention? Maybe it's really a time to get over 9/11 and all the fear it's generated among fans of capitalism.
