The Tower: Dowry-of-Pat

The Tower: Dowry-of-Pat

A Story by Abishai100
"

A tale of skyscraper-rescue in the Windy City which beckons us (all!) to think why post-9/11 era urban 'faith' can link to a 'faerie' tale.

"
An extra 'toast' to the Western/American 'achievement' that's the great The Towering Inferno. Enjoy,

The Chicago skyscraper was about to become a great 'tower' of both commercial vanities (a company 'event' about diamond-trade) and a raging 'inferno' requiting 'Windy City faeries' (firemen/women) to swoop into the 'scene' to create what's surely going to be hailed as a post-9/11 era 'triumph' of the human spirit...regarding a real American dream!

AMLAN SATAN (Fireman-'Faerie'): There's many 'types' of company-events inside buildings we see in Chicago; I know about it.

Now, the blueprints for this Chicago 'tower' are quite something to write about, and it reminds us of the great achievements in urban design/planning and architecture and remind us of the 'social value' of choreographed investments in city-capitalism!

The major media-figure behind the investments in this Chicago tower-event is none other than diamond-filmmaker Thomas Shapleton who's worked with some of the greatest legends in cinematic storyboarding we'd seen in this new era of 'action' dramatics characteristic or reflective of the Western/American storyboarding diet.

SHAPLETON: It seems this Tower-event will draw in many 'artists' with a keen-eye for the dynamics of urban activity now.

The event-rooms inside the Tower are quite a marvel, and you'd think such a 'frailty' scenario would draw in the 'super' heroes like the Firemen-Faeries of the Windy City who'd uphold the internal integrity of such a 'behemoth' of commercial vanities. That's what this tale is all about, really.

COMPANY GUEST: Wow, this is a Tower that should never fall to the hell's flames of an internal calamity, you know.

The diamond-event has drawn in many kinds of investment ads for the Tower-event in Chicago, and the comics-artists praising the ambition behind this post-9/11 era 'toast' to skyscrapers call it a signpost for new era capitalism folklore, drawing out 'strange characters' in suits symbolizing the 'power' of Western dots.

Well, the event was underway and the Roaring Twenties themed (costumed!) room featured gorgeous commerce-women arrayed in those amazing Gatsby-era dresses/gowns that remind us why capitalism is so despised by those who simply/basically 'frown' upon the errs of Western trends.

A major guest at the Tower-event is a Qatar-investing soccer-company 'prince' named Fad, who's using his company/entourage to draw in some nifty cyber-dialogue surrounding the choreography of commerce...with photography!

FAD: The kids really really love that sky-tower viewing sliding glass 'box' which reminds us why skyscrapers drift!

Suddenly, our story draws to its more Hellish signature --- a wire-electric room malfunction/deformity linked to a cross-level wire-connecting power parallel shift mechanism that breaks because of an unchecked water-leak from the upper levels (restrooms!) resulting in a short-disaster which will release the sparks of length into a smoky-abomination of fiery anarchy...maybe as bad as 9/11. Wires simply trick the man...but will it outshine the Fireman-Faerie of Chicago?

AMLAN SATAN (Fireman-Faerie): We let our kids at our station play with this 'cool' set of truck/fire model toys/vehicle(s).

ESMERELDA (Fireman-Faerie): What makes us 'faeries' of heaven is our gift of fanning out flames with watery-drifts, man.

AMLAN SATAN (Fireman-Faerie): I love ice-hockey and video-games and spend time training to fight fires; I'm ready for Hell!

The Tower-event party was underway as usual otherwise, and there multiple floors of costumed partiers, sexy spa indulgers, and suited men in photo-shoots for diamond-trade talks, and Fad himself cheering on the festivities surrounding the Tower's achievements in pure urban/metro delusions.

AMLAN SATAN (Fireman-Faerie): This night we got the call that the Tower-event is submerged in an electric-fire climbing the stairwells, and we'll have to get out there and team up and rotate positions and get to the levels (on time) to use our firehouses to simply/basically put out the fires with adequate 'potions' of Chicago descent.

REPORT: These 'Firemen-Faeries' are really cool, and they remind us why the signature of Chicago's valor is one of media.

AMLAN SATAN (Fireman-Faerie): We climbed into each room in units with water to simply combat the Inferno with downs.

REPORT: These Firemen-Faeries are really 'outstanding' and show us the signature(s) of modern urban teamwork-drift.

CHICAGO SUN: We're going to hail this heroic deed with an artwork drawn from our social-IQ regarding vital city-rotation(s).

JULIET: We put out that bad-boy like it was a bat-out-of-hell, and Satan was the victor, and I love him (and all of us!) for it.

The fire-commissioner (Robert Wagner) was the most depressed, however, since there's no 'triumph' in the calamity of a modern American fire, but he agreed with the rest of us that the saving-grace of the Tower rescue was one worth the cinematic media, and he sat by his phone and thought about the upcoming film to be made about the strange adventure.

ROBERT WAGNER: Those Firemen-Faeries still cheer on the kids visiting their station with those darn nifty toys/trucks, man.

AMLAN SATAN (Fireman-Faerie): We've adopted a new avatar for this special heroism --- a darling red-faerie for dots!

Amlan's wife and ex-girlfriend both agree that this is something to post on Facebook, a post-9/11 'tale' of darkness/wit(s) which will remind us why Americans rule the world.

AMLAN SATAN (Fireman-Faerie): Attending the St. Patrick's Day parade following the Tower-rescue was a treat for all.

CHICAGO SUN: Well, we lost the Twin Towers (World Trade Center), but the 'Tower' of Chicago 'stands' as a trophy of miracle, and we're all honestly 'wondering' if those 'nasty' Firemen-Faeries of the station (Windy City) are (perhaps) not...simply...witnesses!
