A strange urban rumor generates a 'mysticism-oriented court-inquiry' regarding faerie-humanoids and post-9/11 era Philly-depression.

"
A tale of urban superstition/celebrity, inspired by Photographing Fairies and Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. Enjoy,

The City of Brotherly Love (Philadelphia) was the site of great metaphysics/theosophy intrigue as a 'clan' of 'Cossacks' from abroad who'd immigrated/settled into the area were sighted by a local group of city-folk as 'humanoid-disguised faeries' (tiny winged humanoids of the forests with messages of wisdom/warning). The members of this 'clan' were spotted by city-folk in a Philly-alley fluttering giant 'faerie-wings' and levitating while playing a peace-themed flute-song.

PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER: We're assigning our reporter (Isabel) to report on this 'court-case' about metaphysics speculation(s).

Isabel was too busy working on a case involving Enron (insider-trading) impacts on Philadelphia commerce/gem-trade and assigned her two media-figure 'associates' to work the strange legal court-case, Nathalie/Dara. These two would spearhead the court-inquiry of these 'Cossacks' who'd be cast in a City of Brotherly Love 'fanzine' about modern media-culture journals about exposure to city-markets.

NATHALIE/DARA: The Philadelphia court-building is the site of some outrageous faerie-intrigue now after 9/11.

All the media 'buzz' surrounding this strange/landmark case of outrageous 'humanoids' wandering around Philadelphia and sighted by city-folk spotting them 'fluttering' their wings, suggested to the news that there was a strange air of magic in Philly because of this post-9/11 era journal chatter about a 'yearning' for something 'extra-ordinary' in these times of great traffic complexity/worry. This generated much comic-book lore among the artists of the City of Brotherly Love.

COSSACKS/FAERIES: We're only managing a basic/simple microchip-market enterprise for cyber-forum erectors in Philly.

When this band of 'Cossacks' were brought into Philadelphia court, Nathalie/Dara assigned special inquirers to handle the proceedings, and they'd consider why such an eccentric team of merchants, linked to the modeling-circuit, the fashion-world, and to City of Brotherly Love superstition(s) would be rumored to be 'faeries' (winged humanoids from the forest) and not regular people/immigrants in this modern era of post-9/11 urban commerce/magazine dollar-sanity!

NATHALIE/DARA: Yet, these city-folk insist they've witnessed you fluttering wings like faeries in a Philly-alley!
COSSACKS: Isn't this legal 'inquiry' really about the 'quality' of modern urban folklore/journalism for television-glitter?
NATHALIE/DARA: We're using this court to address the problem of consensus-based superstition respect(s).
COSSACKS: Perhaps this court extends as a symbol of urbanization fears linked to basic immigration business!
NATHALIE/DARA: You're suggesting this superstition corroborated claim is merely business-paranoia about immigration?
COSSACKS: The irony of urban courts in commerce/traffic is catering(s) of serious human/social distance(s).

The attorney for the 'Cossacks' (Amlan Satan) was himself a smart upstart Philly-lawyer and cyber-blogging 'theosophist' who'd dress up like a vigilante-oriented modern 'Sherlock Holmes' for blogs about ghosts and angels and demons in Philadelphia to address a modern urban 'fear' of the dearth of superstition storytelling in the post-9/11 era.

AMLAN SATAN: This isn't really a question of determining if a group of Cossack-immigrants are indeed 'faeries' of ghosts haunting Philadelphia city-folk but invoking our post-9/11 worries about traffic normality/sanity compounded by worries about the claustrophobia of modern capitalism/immigration, and the notion that these 'Cossacks' simply seek asylum/privacy for private business only suggests to this City of Brotherly Love court that they're only 'faeries' in the sense that they 'entreat' our yearnings for modern diaries.
