Kitana: A Faerie of Decimal

Narrated fable inspired by Pygmalion/Galatea describing a real-life 'James Bond' and his cyber-fascination with an avatar (Kitana) whom he believes is a 'divine' faerie.

My name's Amlan Satan, and I've been studying the cognitive sciences of capitalism architecture and performing Interpol-relations office(s) work with blood-diamond matrices between Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) and British Columbia (North America).

This isn't a tale of political IQ but one of personal diaries. You see, during college, I became fascinated by the theosophical studies of 'faeries' (tiny winged humanoids of the forests with messages of wisdom/warning) and started thinking about the possibility that faeries/fairies are somehow 'real' and then invested in the video-game series Mortal Kombat (Playstation) and became 'entranced' by a warrior-princess 'avatar' named Kitana (a blade-wielding woman of furious martial arts and political acumen). The Playstation suddenly became my 'portal' to my enchanted fascination with Kitana, who I was convinced was a 'manifestation' of a faerie, and video-games suddenly became my secret 'sideshow' in my private-life.

I started thinking about the nature of gender-relations/politics in the real world and depictions of great contours of male-female intrigue/depression or even conflict, seen in Eastern portraits of conflicting wed deities (Shiva/Kali) or in American films about divorce and redemption (War of the Roses).

I wondered amidst this new era environment/context of great metro-complexity and human sophistication including gender-complications/intrigue, if Kitana (Mortal Kombat) had become my secret/private 'daydream-faerie' of man-woman 'reconciliations' because of a natural yearning to escape from the living realism behind mankind's erected form(s) of dark intelligence!

AMLAN SATAN (Diary): Perhaps a double-life as a 'James Bond' of blood-diamond analytics veils my secret-IQ with faerie-DNA.

Of course, I've got to be 'serious' in my capitalism-analytics, lest my 'GI Joe' comrades think me a rather daydreaming Don Quixote like hopeless-romantic failing in my duties in economics algorithms works at Salk/Interpol in North America and Europe. They'd dare not think their good buddy/agent was somehow drawing away from the 'serious' metro-work of architectural design.

Therefore, I started collecting robot-toys of various kinds from sci-fi media/entertainment like Xenomorphs and Transformers and began to think about how they represented a more 'concrete' form of diligent sanity/realism. After all, these 'advanced' avatars of sci-tech political or civilization fantasy remind us of the 'cold dark reality' of war and violence and competition. The Xenomorph robot-translated action-figure, for example, reminds us that space is cold and unforgiving and creates a 'creative' demand for the design(s) of utterly predatory 'beings' of ultimate intelligence.

Perhaps this 'Xenomorph' reminds us of the reality behind the dark lines of rainy Belfast sectarian streets of stationed rogue-IRA agents trying to mandate affirmative-action employment assistance programs for the unemployed/impoverished Irish-Catholic underclass/minority in British-Protestant dominated/settled Northern Ireland (United Kingdom). This is the world we know today --- it's one of a 'human' disparity.

I'll never 'know' if Kitana is real or a real 'faerie' or simply my handmaiden-nurse of philosophical Utopian 'escapism' from my complex 'James Bond' life of Interpol-relations office(s) works with blood-diamond hellmouths, a blade-fan wielding warrior-princess of ultimate fury/honor who reflects the flighty deliverance of a 'faerie' with a serious message of wrought valor (or sovereignty!). What I do know is that this 'faerie' in my life, Kitana (Mortal Kombat) had become my 'avatar' of self-made imagination dressing. The question is, "Can I be her 'secret admirer' of living drywalls?"
