The Philadelphia courthouse became a new place/site of great Western metaphysics-IQ/intrigue when two prominent 'diplomats' of the media-tech/cyber era, a movie-star and a UPenn theosophy scholar (Cruz/Satan) were involved in a case of criminal procedure involving two individuals apprehended for shoplifting candy-canes for Christmas for homeless children, claiming they were 'faeries' (flying mythical humanoids from the forest with messages of wisdom!) and had something 'magical' to say about the holiday-season of consumerism.

JUDGE (Case): This is a criminal-insanity inquiry regarding 'claims' the defendants 'believe' they're 'faeries' (nonhumans) and the justifications presented for their 'magical criminal acts' (shoplifting), going so far as to say they'd 'promised' to pay for the candy-canes later for a media-message about 'Artful Dodger' distributions of candies for homeless youth during the Christmas season in Philadelphia.

CRUZ: As a a 'prominent' movie-figure planning a new project about metaphysics, this case holds value(s) for my fanzine!
SATAN: I've been a theosophy scholar and consider the journalism 'impact' of this 'faerie'-imagination case, movie-worthy.

Now, Cruz had been tied by his agents to various 'big-time' Western celebs who'd been part of the modern 'magazine'-culture during Christmastime involving shopping/consumerism and toys and media, and this therefore became a Philadelphia 'cinema-hall' spotlight for the re-presentation(s) of capitalism through the lens of 'photo' dollars.

Satan was working the case for the UPenn publication(s) alongside his girlfriend/peer Esmerelda and planned to cast the journalism/media 'impact' of the 'faerie-case' (as it's come to be known in the City of Brotherly Love) on social dialogue in the era of social-media oriented 'photo' distribution(s).

JUDGE: We've brought into this courtroom (in Philadelphia) two local stage-performers linked to an ice-rink show about 'faeries' (mythic flying humanoids with messages of wisdom) to cast their portrayals/doubts about the real existence of these fantastic/unreal creature-humans and compare these 'presentations' to the 'argumentative' belief-statements of the defendants claiming they were 'faeries' sent to Philly for a media-mission about homeless children requiring 'candy-prayers' for Christmas!

THESPIAN STATEMENT/TESTIMONY: It's just whimsical and fun to cast yourself a 'faerie' and derive joys from youth about IQ.

LAWYER 1: We're presenting two sets of toys for the defense/prosecution revealing the 'danger' of tying toys with rhetoric!

LAWYER 2: We hope this 'toy-presentation' can serve to remind folks of the promises of future payments for the stolen items.

LAWYER 1: Sure, Philadelphia is 'dark' these days and needs some 'prayer-IQ' but theft can't be 'pardoned' for folklore!

LAWYER 2: Well, the depressed nature of our clients suggests a consumerism-significance for this Christmas dilemma (media).

CRUZ: You and I are sort of 'tied' up in media-worlds together now and should confer about our magazine-statements and IQ.

SATAN: I agree; we can present a joint-statement, perhaps in an academic theater-dept. publication about metaphysics!

CRUZ: Let's confer in private at the lobby of the Courtyard (Philly).

SATAN: There's 'adequate' liberty-room/privacy away from the 'Hollywood Reporter' there, eh?

CRUZ: I'd argue that such a "There are indeed faeries in Philly" media-conversation beckons a 'cinema' approach to crime!
SATAN: In this lobby, my peer, we're evaluating (gladly) the significance/weight of conferred metaphysics controversy.

JUDGE: We're delivering this 'media-verdict' that the defendants, claiming/believing they're actually 'faeries' are most likely depressed 'mall-Santas' who've exhibited a need for psychiatric rehab in Philadelphia and nevertheless revealed a 'strange nicety' linked to media-conversations about 'metaphysics intrigue' in the US city regarding 'accessible' forms of dialogue/dollars.

CRUZ: Do you believe the defendants were fairies, professor?
SATAN: Esmerelda and I continue to 'praise' any upcoming film about 'faerie' dance.

Is this a crime? The controversy in the City of Brotherly Love continues/endures, and more and more movie-stars wonder about the 'quality' of legal/media 'proceedings' in this advanced era of socialized distances and journalism/TV. However, the defendants, now receiving psyche-care in Philadelphia, maintain in their statement(s), "There's real 'faeries' in the 'big' city --- and what they care about is Christmastime demons."
