Lantern Sisters of Drymouth

Lantern Sisters of Drymouth

A Story by Abishai100
"

Two sisters of the Old West are part of a bio-sister 'picture' and one is diverted in imagination (and descendancy) by a 'distant' faerie-tale!

"
A metaphysics 'ghost' tale inspired loosely by The Indian in the Cupboard. Happy Mother's Day,

In a special lit town of the Old West, two sisters, with different bio-moms, were living together and were desired by a traveling artist who wanted to cast them as 'cavewomen' for his new photo-mosaic in that small-town for travelers who'd become the art-audience. This Old West town was defined by its signature 'lantern' lights!

ASH: We're sisters, Dara, but we're so different I don't see why this 'artist' wants us in the same cavewoman-picture!
DARA: Maybe he likes the guns we've in common for self-defense...maybe a 'faerie-tale' about upheld metal(s).

Ash was a woman of more rugged beauty and grit, while her half-sister Dara was a woman of more sensitive IQ and conversationalism. Ash was more brass and honest, but Dara was more watchful and self-conscious. Perhaps the artist hoped to capture their very differences for his 'natural' cavewoman-picture in that Old West town.

ASH: Dara, my darling sister --- I've discovered a strange 'host' of lit-up 'faerie' creatures in our West-town backyard.
DARA: I believe you, Ash, because you honestly sound 'earnest' but can't 'think' you're being sane to me now!

Ash believed she'd spotted real faeries! A 'faerie' is a mythical winged humanoid flying 'being' with messages of warning/wisdom. Maybe Ash was so 'preoccupied' in her daydreams with this Old West sister-picture the artist sought to cast her and Dara in that she started 'hallucinating' the presence of fluttering faerie-beings offering a message about the metaphysics-bond(s) between half-sisters cast as adventure-avatars in the Old West!

ASH: Dara doesn't believe me, but I'm getting a special Native-American gem-color 'charm-ring' for fortune(s) with faerie-IQ.

DARA: My sister's so preoccupied with this newfound 'faerie-IQ' exposition; me thinks I'll craft her nice art for her dream.

Two hundred years later, the great-great-(etc.) grandson of Ash was born unto Earth...as a half-faerie man! You see folks, Ash met a man in that Old West town after completing that bio-sister picture with Dara, and that 'man' was indeed a 'faerie' Ash had 'spotted' without anyone believing her! This man, her husband, Samuel, never disclosed his 'dark-secret' to his darling believing wife (Ash) but they had children. This great-great-(etc.) grandson of that half-sister Ash (Amlan Satan) was born as a half-faerie in the United States (New England) and was a Catholic (by faith!).

AMLAN SATAN: I'm rewriting a revisionist historico-literature presentation of Doyle's 'master-work' on faerie-IQ (with DNA!).

The point of this 'lantern-sister' tale from the Old West, gone through centuries, is you never know who/what to believe about people, but one thing is certainly certain in the grand West (United States) --- faith can be 'measured' by forms of special depression.
