Athena and Gem were great friends/lovers after graduating together from MIT and were now working at a nice Boston law-firm owned by Gem's father Tandy. They'd become the prototypical American newlywed couple and posted a cyber-blog on Facebook (social-media) about the modern 'flowery' of magazine-culture socialized sharing of activity images/photo(s) in this new era of Hollywood drives.

JOHN DOE: I'm no longer a movie-actor; I've retreated the Hollywood 'scene' and after reading the 'Athena' blog, park-mad!

GEM: I'd wanted to share with y'all the 'greatness' of the Ben Zobrist (Royals!) Topps-card after their iconic 2015 World Series.

DETECTIVE SOMERSET: I believe this John Doe's posted this 'death' message about the 'Athena' cyber with post-9/11 deformity.

Fortunately for Athena/Gem, the smart and seasoned (West Point) Boston (New England) detective, a man of Catholic devotion, Amlan Somerset, hoped to 'rescue' this symbolic American darling-couple from the hellish jaw of the deranged ex-movie man John Doe and used the resourcing of police-station filing(s) to track the behavior-IQ of this modern assassin of the spirits.

JOHN DOE: I'm modeled after the 7Sins (Christian) and think seasoned det.-Amlan will find this 'game' rather perky/Hellborn.

Boston Police Report(s): John Doe's kidnapped 'darling Athena' and keeps her in an unnamed warehouse outside Boston and demands Gem and Detective Somerset show up with a briefcase full of money for the life of the 'American Woman.'

DETECTIVE AMLAN (Somerset): Doe's got the 'dough' to cast media-era celebrity/IQ through the crime-lens of 7Sins-Dragon.

GEM: Why're you showing us this golden gun, psycho-Doe?
JOHN DOE: I wanted to entreat you with envy, Mr. Gem.

DETECTIVE SOMERSET: Are you suggesting that 'cyber-Athena' is a treasure signing the 'shine' of celebrity?

JOHN DOE: Well...det.-Amlan, I think you'd agree Gem and his lovely would sign such a 'treasure' with media-IQ for envy!

GEM: You crazy fool...what'd I want a gold-gun instead of Athena?

DETECTIVE SOMERSET: What he means is, John...this 'martyrdom' about 7Sins-Hollywood doesn't 'fit' with hostage-spirit(s).

JOHN DOE: Keep the girl/Athena, detective(s), but I keep my gun for private suicide.

GEM: I'd just been relieved (as Hell) to ride out of that warehouse with 'cyber-Athena' in your blue Aerostar, Somerset.

DETECTIVE SOMERSET: I think Doe'd want to lure us there with his suicide vision all along, imagining me as a 'faerie' hero.

ATHENA: Maybe this van is like the Scooby-Doo van of symbolic lore...for a later comic.

DETECTIVE SOMERSET: Precision!

GEM: What're you going to do now, Amlan, my hero-pal?
DETECTIVE SOMERSET: Oh, I think I'll work on those 7Sins-Comics Athena's cyber-fans have been inspiring/funding!

GEM: Cool; social-media era casted Western/American (Catholic?) dollar!

DIARY (Somerset): I wonder if 7Sins-Hellraiser Doe ('John') truly wanted some anti-media message about Royals (Topps) IQ.

After Doe committed suicide, his tombstone in New England read the epitaph-message, "I wanted to be a schoolteacher before I was 'drafted' into this 'spiritual' war of social deformity."

Somerset went on to retire and began work with comics-writing about 'faeries' disguised as cops in Catholic Boston working to rescue the individuals 'trapped' spiritually (or physically!) by their own forgivable 'frailty' regarding the 7Sins of Christian-myth (envy, pride, lust, gluttony, wrath, sloth, greed).
