Boston (New England) is where two Harvard-grads who play chess in the park and exhibit powers of telepathy live off their parents' money and cyber-blog about defense of capitalism in the post-9/11 era of traffic worries and terrorism woes.

Amlan calls himself Arrow and his partner Shelbye is the Canary, and Arrow/Canary are the two 'vigilantes' of New England who're the real subjects of this strange 'faerie-tale' of dark obsession and strange villainy. Arrow is a computer-wizard and likes to work alongside Canary in the era of social-media to spread messages of democracy and globalism ideations.

ARROW: It's funny how telekinesis 'reflects' the 'mechanical grid' of the wired computer-net grid.
CANARY: What if computer-electric buzz/energy somehow manifested into strange extra-dimensional emanations?

Arrow (Amlan) likes to go to this one bistro in the city where a very lovely waitress and ex-model works as a charming hostess of the Boston eatery 'scene' and enjoys delivering Amlan ('Arrow') his special/regular latte, ham-and-butter sandwich, and rich tomato-cream soup!

Canary (Shelbye) likes to visit a few toy-stores/shops in Boston (New England) and collects images of special consumerism-reflective 'war-toys' or outright buys them for the cyber-blogs she makes with Arrow. Canary considers this 'street-research' a good symbol of her commitment(s) to the regularity of modern post-9/11 era urbanization sanitation and education for today's homeschooling-students (youth!) who use media/tech-toys to access civilization ideations!

CANARY: I got a strange 'requisition-letter' from Dr. Hammond, insisting we meet in his museum and reveal our power(s).

ARROW: I've heard of Hammond [Massachusetts Institute of Tech]; 'shocked' why he's hawking blogs (psychic-democracy?).

This genius or 'mad-genius' Dr. Hammond of New England insists that Arrow/Canary reveal their special magic and IQ to him as he'd become 'fascinated' by their unusual psychic-democracy 'defense' blogs on the Boston-Net and believes the two 'diplomats' of modernism/dystopian 'intrigue' are somehow 'other-worldly' agents of change/guardianship.

HAMMOND: Wondering if you'd be willing to go into my fMR-machine and get brain-scans while you 'dream' of psychic-heroics.

Arrow/Canary were deeply disturbed by Dr. Hammond's 'other-worldly' proposal to have their brains-minds 'scanned' and study the wavelengths of thought(s) while they dreamt of psychic-heroics and movements in democracy-defense subconscious imagination! Perhaps he'd become intrigued by their evaluations of telepathy and the macro-computer grid and the parallels between function...and mystique.

HAMMOND: Comic books exhibit/re-present a human fascination/obsession with 'other-worldly' magic/presence and sell!
ARROW/CANARY: What precisely are you implying, good/strange doctor of New England?
HAMMOND: Well, all this 'talk' about extra-human work/activity (comics!) makes me wonder if there's something 'real.'
ARROW/CANARY: Real?
HAMMOND: I mean to say, perhaps these 'super-heroes' in comics somehow parallel our 'real' fascination with labor-valors.
ARROW/CANARY: Labor valor, Doc?
HAMMOND: I believe you two 'vigilantes' of Boston parallel the 'extra-ordinary' avatars presented in fantasy-comics.
ARROW/CANARY: Maybe we're Bonnie and Clyde, Doc!
HAMMOND: No joke(s); I think you're here (Boston) for a 'mystery' reason --- to remind everyone of the presence of light.
ARROW/CANARY: Doc, I think you're reading too much comics these days (but we'll keep quiet!).
HAMMOND: No, no --- I think these comics with outrageous stories somehow represent what you two 'really' do in Boston!

The resolution of this outrageous requisition was the gifting of Arrow/Canary to Dr. Hammond an experiment-themed fun home-work chemistry kit/set which the 'good doctor of New England' might use to create homemade metrics-tests of the evaluations of links between adrenaline and energy and brain-juice/emotions and hormones and blood...and the 'perceptibility' of magic and divinity!

HAMMOND: It's not what I 'really' wanted...but I admit, this activity-'prescription' has satiated by haunting wonder of divinity.
