Mannequin: Ghost-Wax

Mannequin: Ghost-Wax

"

'Metaphysics-IQ diary' of post-9/11 era New England traffic 'art' hallucination(s) of 'haunted' transformer-mannequins [faerie-tale].

Does traffic fear incite our angst about exorcised daydreams? Inspired (loosely) by Ouija. Enjoy,

Wandering around major areas of social traffic these days, in the post-9/11 era of global commercial vanities as well as terrorism woes, might invoke your imaginations about a natural 'mysticism' regarding survival and resilience, as you continued your daily life of consumerism regularity! That's what this dark 'faerie-tale' is about really.

I'm a Cog-Econ professor at Dartmouth and spend some time in New England shopping-malls with my girlfriend (Lynda), and we like to take iPhone-shots of the traffic/population for our cyber-blogs about the colors and richness of continental consumerism!

LYNDA: I've been teaching a course on Sinn Fein at Dartmouth for 2 years, and politics is 'wed' to money in the new era.

So, I'm at Logan (Airport!) with Lynda and taking the nice iPhone-shots of the traffic/institutional architecture of the interior(s) of the building, and I start to get an 'eerie' ghost-like feeling that there's 'ghosts' of the people-traffic who traversed Logan in years past, whispering messages of worry in the modern day.

LYNDA: He made me buy a Ouija-board and we'd play it (Saturday!) and invoke the 'specters' of ghosts haunting mannequins.

After our Saturday-Ouija (session), Lynda/I trek to the Boston mall again, as customary, and start taking iPhone-shots of the colored/wondrous capitalism-IQ 'mannequins' who remind us of the doll-like money of consumerism sociology. I then get this 'eerie' ghost-like feeling that one of these symbol-mannequins are whispering to me, "Make love!" I wonder what to think and if I'm (simply) thinking of Lynda, but, in fact, I start to seriously ask myself, "Is modern traffic turning me into a delusion-artist?"

MANNEQUIN: Whisper, professor...whisper; we're alive (more than you assume); appreciate the 'goodness' of dawn.
