Flames of Drama: Hockey-Duty

I've been a fan of watching sports on TV, since I never really made it to varsity-level in any single sport, but I like to stay fit, and I've got this 'fantastic' photo of me trying-on a Bauer ice-hockey gear-helmet while visiting a Flyers training-arena in NJ/USA. I became a Flames (Calgary/Canada) fan, a TV/video-game fan! I'm a 'shadow' Flames fan (ice-hockey)!

NHL (ice-hockey) video-games are superior to any other sports-themed video-game out there, and EA Sports' NHL series is the best (by far!). I like playing Flames-simulation games, perhaps pitting the Calgary team against rival Oilers (to avenge the playoffs-loss in 2022 after an incredible division-topping season run this year).

I've been to Quebec, Toronto, and Montreal (Canada) but never to Calgary, but if I ever go, I'll attend a Flames game in their Stadium and maybe buy a Fleury-rookie card! I might get a Flames fan-painting too. I might even meet a nice girl who's a Flames-fan (like me!).

I'm a Catholic by-faith, and I believe in faerie-myths. I read the work of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and watched the amazing movie Photographing Fairies (Ben Kingsley). I got this red-faire sculpture/figurine image and keep it as my testament to Flames-fanfare/excellence (ice-hockey). This image brings me good fortune(s).

Ice-hockey's a sport requiring much swiftness and grace and teamwork mindfulness. It's a game of toughness and resilience, and it looks really cool! That's what draws me to Calgary. That's what inspired me to compose this 'dogma' work of 'fanfiction' for Flames-diary. Hope you liked it.
