A team of 'scouts' (soldiers) are deployed to Brazil (Amazon) to 'investigate' an alien-intelligence (killer!) Weyland Company believes is 'research' friendly.

The science firm Weyland was behind the special inquiry into an alien spaceship signal landing report in the Amazon jungles/rainforest of Brazil (South America).

WEYLAND SCIENTIST (Salk): We believe there's multiple intelligent laser-weaponized 'Predator-aliens' luring in the Amazon!

The Company sent a team of soldiers to ready themselves, geared and weaponized (with special Weyland hand-cannon lasers, guns) to track and find this reported 'hostile' Predator-alien 'being' with rumored humanoid shape, body-armor of a strange 'brand' with hand-attached cannon-guns, and a rather nasty demeanor and intent to tread the Amazon (Brazil) as an 'experimental' hunter. Earth was dark!

RALPH: We got the guns, we got the stuff, we got the laser-vision; we simply have to destroy.
JEN: Oh, no one is 'suspect' this 'Predator' has come-in-peace with blueprints to 'cure' Eugenics confusion?
RHONDA: Whatever this armored thing-alien is in the Amazon, we've got to find it and before there's real danger.
AMLAN: How many are there, since like there's only like a limited number of us (dear light-brigade friends!)?

WEYLAND COMPANY: The 'outfit' sent to Brazil-jungle to track the Predator (alien) will be armed-to-teeth with rapid-fire!

AMLAN: I saw the thing in that area of the (Amazon) jungle at dawn while jogging; it had an arm-cannon attached to it.

Two of the Weyland 'scouts' (soldiers) wandered around the thick of another area of the jungle the same day Amlan spotted the alien 'thing' targeting recreationally with its hand-cannon attached. Amlan had already claimed the rather large humanoid in helmet and armor had like 'dreadlock hair' and glowing eyes and seemed to grunt. The two Weyland 'scouts' (soldiers) tracking the jungle area on that very-same day vanished.

AMLAN: I've drawn a portrait of the thing-alien 'man-psycho' and its helmet/dreads suggest to me Weyland's nuts for seeking.

Well, the Weyland unit of Brazil-jungle (Amazon) scout-soldiers continued to track and detect for signs of the man-psycho and used their rapid-fire guns when they spotted it and then saw it disappear (using a very mysterious body-cloaking device rendering it to appear as a 'shadow' or something). Amlan and Rhonda then spotted the Predator but this one was somewhat different in size, and the scout-crew then had no horrific choice but to conclude there were multiples.

WEYLAND REPORT: Amlan and company managed to kill 3 Predators but lost 5 members of their army; we'll keep seeking.

AMLAN (Diary): Back in the United States, in my comfy interview science-lab new office(s)-room, I can't forget the jungle-IQ.

The moral of this strange jungle-alien encounter story of bloody murder and hellmouth is that Weyland may continue to investigate the disappearances of the Predator(s) who departed Earth after 3 of its 'brethren' were valiantly killed (and then burned to ash!) by the scout-army (Amlan and company). This is a story of alien science inquiry leading to the 'harsher' reality that we're not alone in the universe...but arguably (perhaps!) wish we were. Amlan converted to Catholicism.
