Royal FaeriesA Story by Abishai100A sports-fanfare picture for post-9/11 era Western prayer(s).
A baseball love-note inspired by Mr. Destiny (Michael Caine).
DISCLAIMER: I've no 'formal' ties to the Royals organization and cast this personal cards-collection 9/11-patriotism vignette as a work of sports-dreamcatcher fanfiction. ---- ==== Firefly was a valiant GI Joe working with blood-diamonds in Kansas-City and wanted to showcase his Royals-cards collection among the various people trafficking his American city! ![]() He'd become depressed about 9/11 era fear(s) regarding traffic destabilization and hoped Facebook/baseball would draw him out of Selfie-sadness! ![]() Royals games had been a pastime for Amlan for some time now, and he'd collected cards of the team/athletes as a hobby, and then he wanted to use Royals ornaments/magic to offer special street-theater, taking photos of people who looked like 'faerie-fans' of the city of baseball! ![]() AMLAN: The Royals won the Series in 1985/2015...do you find that interesting? PEDESTRIAN/FAN: Sure; I guess; we all do, right? ![]() AMLAN: You look so great in blue...but is it "Royals" blue? PEDESTRIAN/FAN: Sure, I guess; baseball is this city's aqua-velva (drink)! ![]() AMLAN: That raincoat is very special...is it a Royals coat? PEDESTRIAN/FAN: I guess so, I mean I cheered for the 2015 team! ![]() AMLAN: That's an awesome blue sweater...Royals? PEDESTRIAN/FAN: Why not (I 'feel' cool). ![]() Then, Amlan Satan ('Firefly') spotted a major media figure who'd been part of a movie about a moon-mission, walking alongside another figure in a movie about immortal centurions! ![]() AMLAN: Cool threads...are you Royals fans (blue)? COUPLE: Why not? ![]() His treasure item is a Zobrist baseball-card; he considers it his 'method' of raising the United States out of 9/11 depression! ![]() FIREFLY: The faerie-figurines of myth/mysticism remind me of the tone(s) of blue and what makes the color like heavens! ![]() He then showcased his nifty collection of gem-wristbands to Royals fans outside the baseball-stadium to wonder if their spirit of baseball helped them forget about the devastation of the World Trade Center, which made almost everyone smile! ![]() Firefly (Amlan Satan) then got a special Kansas City war-museum portrait/artwork depicting a watershed moment of turbulent US-history and kept it in his Royals memento-album. ![]() AMLAN: Is that a Royals-outfit (smart-blue)? STUDENT: I like baseball (sure); but I prefer video-games! ![]() DIARY: Sure it'd been 30 years since the Royals (KC) won the Series, but the recent one reminded folks of the magic of cards. ![]() So, he began making fashion-statement doodle-image posts on his new cyber-blogs about what makes us or helps us forget about the devastation of the World Trade Center...Royal-blue! ![]() AMLAN: The 2015 Series lift your spirits about 9/11? PEDESTRIAN/FAN: Sure; thanks for asking! ![]() In conclusion, Firefly concluded that his love of faeries and America and 9/11 prayer(s) created his special 'dioramic' research of what made Royals (baseball) fanfare so darn Catholic...or cyber...or folk...or American...or punk-rock...or simply...data. ![]() ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2022 Abishai100 |
