Amlan Satan lives in South Jersey (United States) and would keep visiting the Wingate (Wyndham) hotel where he'd swear he had visions of seeing his 'girlfriend-angel' who'd been a screen-escaped figurine from the Mortal Kombat video-game series, the blade-fan wielding princess of fury (Kitana). The Wingate became his portal-secret for his 'weird-science' about fantasy dream crafting.

He'd been a blood-diamond political writer and comics-artist crafting tales of combat and political infiltration and became fascinated by the Mortal Kombat cyber-aesthetic regarding the contours/shapes of human stealth and daring since the game was a martial-arts graphic arena adventure storyboard with avatars signifying espionage and power. Kitana, the blade-fan wielding warrior-princess, became Satan's 'faerie-princess' or muse of personal reflections on the living accessibility of fantasies/daydreams about incredible 'sharp' adventures. Kitana made Satan the writer feel like...a literary model!

He printed out a copy of the Kitana image/print from Mortl Kombat (video-game) pages and mounted it on a rather nice cardboard homemade/crafted frame and placed it on the Wingate (Wyndham) hotel wall-display after removing a cheap/gaudy work in secret while there was no one watching/supervising activities in the lobby area of the hotel. He left a note on the concierge/reception desk, reading, "Patron requests Kitana-print replacement to be kept on wall in-place of the removed flower-vase sketch from WalMart as gesture of foreign investor relations advertisement offers (more exotic 'touch') and wishes to keep the Wingate 'ad-decision' a private/inner-circle matter, so just (simply) keep this switch a 'silent' in-house gem-contract for the visitors/investors/guests!"

WINGATE (WYNDHAM): We believe this 'secret-requisition' was made by a major Wingate shareholder and honor it for ad-IQ.

After Satan made this brilliant maneuver of 'underground' covert political-aesthetic(s) swap, he got a special edition of Peter Pan (JM Barrie) and considered why his 'gem-art' theater-trick inside the Wingate regarding his mounted admiration of Kitana (Mortal Kombat) would forever remind him why blood-diamond literature had drawn him to a different kind of a "Lady of the Lake" (Arthurian-lore), one more of a 'Peter-Pan design' and drawn from modern cyber-activity/play and re-presentative of a certain socialized design regarding 'fly-boy' diarism!

DIARY (Satan): You can't 'write' about the modern world of grid-corruption without meditating on the 'faeries' of data!

Did Kitana (Mortal Kombat) become Amlan Satan's modern rendition of the Lady of the Lake (Arthurian-lore)? Would he triumphantly link his blood-diamond politics/piracy underground writings to a modern comics/cyber 'aesthetic' regarding more 'espionage' and combat-oriented 'faerie-muses' of political engagements/depression? This was a time of capitalism 'negotiation(s)' and perhaps Kitana reminded Satan of the 'New World' of wrought detention.
