The two were as opposite as knight-and-demon.

GAMBIT: We'll cross into Earth-realm and become Microsoft media-IQ market(s) nerdists with capitalism fortune(s) for press.

NIGHTCRAWLER: Sounds like a Vegas adventure worth the crossover through that eerie space-mortal made by Merlin.

NIGHTCRAWLER: Cool, I'll become a 'crazy-rich-eastern' 'London Fog' model in NYC in the post-9/11 era of youth-hostels.

Both these competitors however agreed even as humanoids-on-Earth that Wimbledon lore/color(s) cast a great light for the socialized re-presentations of ritualized customary etiquette belying any 'basic-instinct' thought about betrayal, freedom, profit, self-satisfaction, and narcissism.
