An offbeat love-fable inspired by Before Sunrise (Ethan Hawke)!

Amlan Satan was on his way to JFK (Airport!) before being shipped off to the Russo-Ukrainian War, to help the invaded Ukrainians deal with the loss of land(s) (e.g., Crimea) and threats to the Chernobyl-area. However, before becoming a full-fledged 'Joe-soldier' in Europe, Satan would have a terrific love-adventure inside the airport itself, a symbol of traffic-photography.

DIARY (Amlan Satan): This airport is really something; you can't but help notice all the beautiful people walking by you.

That's when Satan beheld the vision he didn't expect to find/see inside JFK (NY). It was a beautiful schoolteacher from New England (Shelbye) who'd planned on flying from New York to Dublin to present a coursework/lecture on English-Irish language-arts (linguistics!). Satan found Shelbye to be everything he'd want in a girl/friend, loveliness, charm, intelligence, confidence, sophistication, you name it. However, he was being sent off to war and had to deal with the reality of never returning (alive!). He considered the temp-wisdom of simply 'enjoying-life' in society-imagery just on his iPhone-Facebook toy.

SHELBYE: I've fallen for you, beautiful stranger.

AMLAN: Me too.

SHELBYE: This airport-pay bed sure is romantically shocking and comfy, right?
AMLAN: I agree.

SHELBYE: You're surely short-worded, before your war-adventure, for this romantic tryst with me, darling.

AMLAN: I know!

SHELBYE: Don't you want to tell me something before we may part/depart...forever, Satan?
AMLAN: Not really...I just want to treat this evening (before my departure-flight tomorrow morning) like the Prom.

SHELBYE: We'll treat it like a one-night 'prom' marriage 'event' in New York.

AMLAN: That's magic!

Two weeks later, Amlan Satan was a hot-sniper in the Ukrainian force(s) still enduring this longer struggle with Russia, a war of extensions that created more and more need for 'volunteers/recruits' who may have area family/background/ties (like American citizen Amlan Satan!). This was an odd war-game indeed, and Amlan still kept in his pocket his photo-printout of his one-time JFK (Airport!) sweet-heart (and 'Prom-wife' as he put it!) in his war-uniform pocket, and he stared at it momentarily during a tank-celebration joyride down one street outside Crimea/Europe during his war-service time.

DIARY (Amlan Satan): There's nothing 'fresh' in war, but memory is 'think' like a service-man...the human remembers JFK.

Satan gifted Shelbye, his JFK (Airport!) 'Prom-wife' for that one magic-moment, a special flower-art gift/glass-sculpture which he hoped would remind his 'Prom-wife' that there's nothing 'dry' or 'cold' about a moment of 'promised-love' in a life fated to be tied to a possible alien-war of no-return and land-transferences. He hoped it was this art-gift that Shelbye would 'count' (remember) as the memento of their 'Prom-marriage' inside JFK (Airport).

DIARY (Amlan Satan): I brought special Romanian toy-rifle while traveling Europe; after war, I got home and forgot the Hell.

Satan sat down in front of his Boston apartment laptop by his window, now working as a freelance artist and living off a war-pension/endowment afforded by a local gov't official (family-friend!) and began to pen stories about the heroic soaring wonder-being 'Hawkman' who finds a single-night 'Prom-wife' inside a famous airport after valiantly rescuing her from the clutches of deadly rogue terrorists (Cobra). Satan wrote, "Hawkman considered his 'flight' of fancy with this damsel of the airport his 'revelation' that all airports offer a sense of magical charm for traffic's strange darkness."
