A group of women from the baseball-league time-traveled into the future and learned that Earth's future was wed to a horrid invasion by an insect-dragon alien 'being' called the Xenomorph.

The Xenomorph is Endymion (alias) and has adorned a humanoid form alongside his insect-dragon appearance to create a 21st-Century 'video-man' like appearance with electric powers and a Pharaoh-like visage in a special palace in the United States.

The women who've time traveled have volunteered into the special alien-fighting force in the 21st-Century called 'Red_Mask' and will be trained to use special Weyland Company machine-guns with laser-beams to strike/aim at the aliens' skulls!

ENDYMION: I'll strike at the heart of United States spirit(s) by destroying Fenway Park (New England) during the Series.

RED_MASK: We'll prep these volunteer 'baseball-ladies' with cyber-games designed to improve coordination to aid courage.

VOLUNTEERS: We're getting ready with special cyber-baseball games to train our eye-hands and complement field-shooting.

Once Red_Mask trains these time-travelers and places them in the special military-roving vehicles, they're to anticipate entering a Western factory where Endymion has deployed his main alien drones to kill them all.

RED_MASK: I know you're all very worried...but this fight is for the honors/laurels of Independence Day (ok).

One of the male co-captains of the fighting force and human resistance in New England is Amlan Satan who strikingly reminds the players/athletes of the special women's league (baseball) coach who'd been hired 'nicely' to improve media-relations between sports-fans and broadcasters and is giving these ladies the right 'stuff' of teamwork...and photogenic diary!

LADY_JAYE: I'll make sure these women are ready alongside me to strike at the Xenomorph dragons and usurp Endymion (for 4th of July Facebook comments of course).

DANIELS (Lieutenant): We run group units; shoot at the alien-skulls and others shoot at legs to debilitate and then ice-guns.

VOLUNTEER: We'll remember this strange-day as a toast to the glories of Western sportsmanship and bravery/dish.

HOLLYWOOD REPORTER: Might this be the 'right-stuff' response for Independence-Day and invoke sci-fi restoration IQ?

AMERICAN PRESIDENT: I 'doubt' this stand will amount to nothing; that's why we 'strike' at the nose of Endymion's terrorism.

AMLAN SATAN: You look scared, darling.

VOLUNTEER: I was 'dreaming' of this dragon infant alien state, and I thought about spiders on the moon.

AMLAN: Ha, just shoot straight, baseball gal!

VOLUNTEER: After this is over, before we return in our own time(s), I'm taking a nice break at the Wingate Haven (Boston).

The fighting was intense, and Red_Mask and the volunteers, including the fiery Lady_Jaye offered something topping hot and insulting/infuriating to the heart/brain of Endymion's vanity for the sake of Independence-Day, and the firing/teamwork would be hailed as a toast to the glories of civilization machinery, materials, mood, marksmanship, magic, and Machiavellian murder (ha).
