A dioramic vignette/fanfiction featuring the imaginations behind the iconic Alien-media drawn Giger Museum, which I think you might enjoy!

==== I've been a big fan of sci-fi horror media/comics/movies and decided to research some of the fantastic Alien media exhibits in the Giger museum in Europe. My name's Amlan Satan, and I'm a chess superfan and fan of sci-fi writers like Carl Sagan and Isaac Asimov and wanted to evaluate the human appeal of conceptualizations of playing chess with the Xenomorph insect-dragon intelligent/terrifying species from the Alien sci-fi horror films starring Sigourney Weaver, which have become a fun Facebook profile/commentary feature in recent time. ![]() I've watched multiple Alien franchise films, but my favorite is the most recent one, Covenant, which presents a more gritty and graphic look at engagement with the terrifying insect-dragon alien species on an uncharted planet leading to new revelations about the engagement between humans and aliens, producing visions of both intelligence...and violence. ![]() My wife, a New England schoolteacher, is a big fan of sci-fi profile pages/features on Facebook and considers sci-fi media for modern students of science-entertainment a nice reflection of modernism imagination, which is why she'll be blogging about my investments in the Giger Museum in Europe on Facebook and perhaps gain more teacher-network comments about sci-fi movies. ![]() The rooms and exhibitions and features inside the Giger Museum are quite marvelous. You get a real feel for the aesthetics/design behind the provocative Alien franchise and why the dominions/realms of the Xenomorph 'dominion' capture a human curiosity about adaptation/evolution deviance or control and violence or governance, a presentation of intelligence-studies regarding anarchy and danger and hence engineered unusual interiors. ![]() I had a personal 'secret' revelation when I was meditating on one specific exhibition-area of the iconic Giger Museum featuring a lifelike Xenomorph statue/sculpture which seemed to be 'speaking-out' to the audience(s), perhaps/arguably offering a 'dark message' about the dangers and omens of faraway space-travel and contact with an exotic/nonhuman intelligence! I started to think this alien insect-dragon 'being' was conferring with me personally! ![]() ALIEN: What's your fancy, Amlan Satan? ME: I happen to be a 'huge' fan of chess, and of Alien media/movies! ALIEN: Cool. ME: I wondered if you'd want to challenge me in chess? ALIEN: Of course! ME: Are you a fan of governance/warfare modelizations reflected in chess-play? ALIEN: Of course. ME: I'm a big fan of various styles of chess and what they illuminate about politics/IQ. ALIEN: Cool. ME: I noticed after the first few games between us you're quite 'shrewd' with manipulating offensives. ALIEN: Thanks! ME: I feel like I'm quite confident at balancing defensive background with offense-IQ. ALIEN: Sure! ME: I appreciate the exhibitions inside 'your' Giger Museum featuring 'offspring' Xeno-alien gargoyles. ALIEN: Thanks...man. ![]() The Xenomorph alien is a marvel in of itself in modern sci-fi imagination/storyboarding and movie-making. It's quite an intriguing (albeit frightening) creature of intelligence made iconic by the popular and profitable Western/Hollywood films starring the likes of Sigourney Weaver and Guy Pearce. The Giger Museum exhibitions kept me 'drawn' into the allure and marvelousness of these amazing malicious beings from another dimension! ![]() I thought about my own personal love of comic-books and my doodles I've made for my cyber-homeschooling young students in North America featuring 'strange' vigilantes with their antiheroine girlfriends mired in the intrigue of civilization cities complicated by crime and governance. I wondered if these doodles about human imagination 'paralleled' the Xenomorph alien consciousness or 'attitude' in a polar-opposite fashion as they'd been cast in the Giger Museum of 'fantastic' stances of intentional design/dance! ![]() In fact, when I'd perused these Xenomorph-alien exhibitions/exhibits inside the 'iconic' Giger Museum/website in Europe, I started to take stock of the interiors and environments in which we cast/place our own evaluations of strange light and life-forces and space-ship or domicile design as they represent the mind's view of peace or violence. It felt like a chess-movie! ![]() ALIEN: "That 'man' Amlan Satan's sure good and happy about chess...I wonder what our imagination-exchange will draw!" ![]() The next time I'll see an Alien sci-fi horror film or read a comic-book, I might just consider why one of these terrifying if 'shrewd' dragon-like beings from outer-space would find a chess-engagement worthy of serious social-media drawing(s). After all, doesn't chess remind us of...darkness? ![]() After this careful/tedious/wondrous study of Alien media and the re-presentative Giger Museum (Europe), I treated myself to a 'cool' coffee in New England with my wife (the Facebook-schoolteacher!) and told her why chess-play had become new newfound/adult hobby, to which she replied, "An alien might like coffee as much as chess, sweetheart!" ![]() "It doesn't matter how much faith you have or don't have [in aliens]. I just don't buy the idea that we're alone. There's got to be some form of life out there" (Ridley Scott). ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2022 Abishai100 |
