An offbeat optimism-fable inspired loosely by Cool World (Brad Pitt). Enjoy (and thanks for reading),

==== Amlan Satan is a Chicago comic-book writer/artist who started going insane after listening to stories of tragedy/crime on news-TV and decided to 'transform' himself into a blogging-vigilante named Video-Man, talking about the IQ-role of modern media in reaching those trapped in the real purgatory of Hell in the Windy City but unable to reach the queries for fortune through social-media resources (e.g., Facebook). ![]() VIDEO-MAN: I shall make myself an access-dialogue commentary proliferation artist-vigilante in Chicago to reach the poor. ![]() His first 'victim' is one of the poor of Chicago, made invisible by the unrecognized 7-Sins of Christian faith in the troubled but rich Windy City. This is a young housewife named Sandy who talks on the phone for hours while her husband comes home quite late from work because of an adulterous affair she knows about but can't be certain and can't reach out to anyone, forcing her to aimlessly chat with her friends on the phone as if all is well...but she's about to read Video-Man's special 7-Sins vigilante-blog about the value(s) of 'listening' to secret suspicions before attending church for private prayer(s). ![]() SANDY: Something on my next private visit to my Catholic church in Chicago made me see a new air of privacy-IQ. ![]() Video-Man then blogs about a very dramatic-graphic youth-animation film from the Big '80s concerning dramatized robot 'avatars' pitted in the real intense warfare of deceptively complex inter-species warfare, creating a nearly 7-Sins like orientation(s) for the understanding of complicating conscious violence and evil...and offers insights into the very nature of 'wrought' distance(s). ![]() VIDEO-MAN: I shall make residents/cooks of the fabled Windy City dream of the access-value(s) of box-foods for family! ![]() Meanwhile, during this cyber-blogging vigilante/vigilance 'campaign' in Chicago, Video-Man (Amlan Satan) became a 'natural celebrity' for fans of wrought city-prayers, and he began receiving praises often like, "You're like the modern Thomas Nast for the cyber-age(s) of distilled democrats!" ![]() His next 7-Sins 'victim' is a hapless but adorable young child of a drug-addicted lawyer couple in the fabled/challenged Windy City (Chicago) who almost died of malnutrition when his neglectful parents failed to address his dietary needs one weekend of heavy alcohol/drug use, and when Video-Man blogs, "Watch your neighbors' activity especially when they have children to tend, since you'll feel something like a Chicago detective." ![]() VIDEO-MAN: My next/final(?) 7-Sins 'victim' in Chicago is a poor working-wife whose husband insults cooking-IQ constantly. ![]() This modern 'Thomas Nast' vigilance-vigilante of the modern Windy City blogs that the poor working-wife (Theresa) should get a nice Ms. Pac-Man arcade-machine for her house so she may play on it when she's not busy preparing meals for her household and simply 'transcend' the darkness of condemnable cynicism! Isn't this what America's all about --- design(s)? ![]() FAN/READER: Video-Man's changed the way I conceive of 'self-wrought' vigilance in Chicago through Christian-lens of dowry. ![]() The simple lessons of this blogging vigilance 'faerie-tale' is you can never tell just who's dutiful...and who's depressed (even in a 'designed' city like Chicago!).
