Amlan and his wife Shelbye were mounting special spaceships from the Alien franchise and using cyber-mosaics to cast futuristic space-explorations ideas about the wonders of the far-reaches of the universe and alien-species contact. Amlan considered himself a 'pirate-student' of the contours of spaceship design and liked making comments about it on Facebook!

AMLAN: These amazing and very strange Xenomorph-alien spaceships remind us of the organics-IQ and travel-lines of aliens!

SHELBYE: In contrast to the Xeno-craft, our own American/Earth craft from Alien including the Sulaco remind us of security!

This was a time of great media-era tech ideas and cyber-mosaics of wondrous futuristic designs for sci-fi media/entertainment/education, and Shelbye/Amlan hoped to use non-academic social-media platforms (e.g., Facebook) to cast their own special pedestrian/consumer/scholarly ideas about the shapes comprising our street-IQ imagery regarding space-travel storytelling ideal for complementary Facebook-oriented dialogue!
