Alien: Chess DukeA Story by Abishai100A visitor-alien of incredible IQ challenges a world-prince (Earth) named Amlan in a chess-match that may reveal 'serious' forms of democracy.
A competition daydream, between species, inspired very loosely by the The Wizard (Fred Savage). Thanks for reading,

==== An adversarial alien crossed through the Stargate dimension portal to arrive into Earth-realm and challenge a civilization intellect-prince named Amlan Satan in a game of chess. ![]() The alien is a mastermind and very skilled at the Russian form of machine-like chess and the human civilization chess-prince is Amlan Satan (Dartmouth professor) who's very much like Bobby Fischer. The alien, Endymion, believes this standoff against Satan (Amlan) on Earth, through chess-IQ, should reveal something illuminating about the contour(s) of free-will play and its impact on ideations of governance exchange/dialogue. ENDYMION/SATAN ![]() ENDYMION: I found you at Dartmouth playing Battle-Chess simulation games on your computer...against yourself! SATAN: I sometimes play against the computer (programmed-play!), but yeah, I just practice the 'art' of self-consciousness. ENDYMION: Well, I think our standoff here might reveal something 'magical' about machine-vs-libertine forms of competition. SATAN: I agree; in fact, I'm reminded of how our differing styles parallel the Becker-Lendl (Wimbledon) competition! ![]() “I have come to the personal conclusion that while all artists are not chess players, all chess players are artists.” " Marcel Duchamp ![]() NEWSWIRE: It's a 'sure' fact the freeform-chance play of libertine-chess by 'Prince Satan' contrasted Endymion's efficiency. ![]() INTERVIEWER: So, you felt, Prince Satan, that your libertine form(s) contrasted Endymion's machine-like IQ for chess. AMLAN SATAN: Yeah, and we had a 3-3 draw-decision, but I disagree his 'machine' style was any less 'elegant' than mine. INTERVIEWER: As with Becker-Lendl (Wimbledon '89), the contrast between libertine and machinist view created folklore. AMLAN SATAN: Yeah, and like with Lendl, Endymion's more 'machine' approach to chess-chance was no less beautiful. INTERVIEWER: How'd you manage to keep pace with a 'machine' with your sense(s) of libertine experimentation? AMLAN SATAN: Well, like with Becker, I had to 'invent' a form of on-go self-expressive 'acrobatic' dance (ha!). ![]() ENDYMION (Diary-Entry): I'm sure now that what's been illuminated is that IQ-lights of competition show 'dance' of style. ![]() AMLAN SATAN (Diary-Entry): This show of 'dance-style' in species-competition to warrant 'diplomacy' shines video-game heat! ![]() SATAN: Are you residing in the Earth ocean-abyss now as a meditating alien-exile/isolationist, Endymion? ENDYMION: Yes...and I'm certain you'll continue to 'shine' your education-media use of libertine democratic imaginariums! ![]() The alien Endymion was now forever 'immortalized' in the ocean as a visitor of great intelligence and focus and required the 'champion'-like wit(s) of 'Prince Amlan Satan' (Dartmouth) to offer the 'right-stuff' in competition to cast this New Earth lore about the designs/archaeology of civilization daydreams! ![]() ALIEN: I wonder if all this 'comic-book' like approach to civilization upkeep shines the light(s) of eternal...democracy. ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2022 Abishai100 |
