Khan on the Moon

Khan on the Moon

A Story by Abishai100
"

A visually-fun adventure to the moon involving a narrated account of an encounter with a 'sophisticated' alien with messages of chess-dressing(s).

"
One more Star-Trek feature, inspired by the amazing Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (Ricardo Montalban). Enjoy (Happy Summer),

I went on a special mission to moon in 2024 after NASA'd abandoned all its trips to that lunar surface since the haunting days of Apollo 18, and we wondered if there'd be another 'mystery' event on the moon during this special momentous event for humanity, which drew nice intricate diagrams of a new shuttle-program but would be the final moon trip this time.

My name's Amlan Satan ('Storm-Shadow'), and I'm a Calgary ice-hockey coach and NASA space-travel trainee and graduate of Dartmouth. I consider science-fiction stories representative of human imagination and wits, and I'll think about my return to Earth as a chance to freshen my view on the quality of social activity on the ground (ha).

I stared at the moon and saw a wolf howl in the lights, and I decided to make some kind of diary-note or portrait of the pensive experience to recount my imagination about the nature of Earth-distance. I wondered what I'd encounter on this moon-visit and what I'd remember about this 'moon-wolf' portrait...perhaps a Facebook comment of some kind (ha).

When I got to the moon on the shuttle Sulaco, me being the only traveler/captain/pilot, I was shockingly greeted by a hiding underground Martian species which was spying on humanity since Apollo 18, and this insect-dragon humanoid species which called itself 'Xenomorph' had both male/female members, some dragon-like in appearance or insect and some humanoid and quite attractive. I was greeted by the female humanoid Xenomorph named Medusa.

KHAN: You've made an 'impression' on my fair lady Medusa, and I wondered about the quality of your species' will to the moon and its nature of lunar fascination since those haunting days of Apollo 18, but I announce to you this Amlan Satan (human moon traveler from Earth) --- We Xeno-aliens of varying appearance have been roaming around the solar-system invisibly/undetected and learning about the nuances/frailty of your modern world/times, and I consider my alien-species engaging with yours a discrete 'chance' to engage with your view(s) on chess, capitalism, computers, and catharsis, but if you disappoint me, Satan, I shall destroy your puny world and all its 'cinematic' dance(s) --- ha!

AMLAN SATAN: I'll play a simplified game of rook-bishop chess against what most likely is a line-machine oriented version/rendition of this classic mind-game with you nefarious Khan of the Xenomorphs, but if you assault me with any double-bishop or knight-queen bravado, I'll consider this 'treaty' of engagement a sign of inter-species diagonals!

KHAN: Return then to your puny/pardoned world, Captain Satan, and go in peace, for this chess-option has 'truly' provided the Xenomorphs with a second-look at the evasion of Invasion in preference for intelligence-intrigue games and we may just reside inside your planet as invisible/uncontacted ocean-abyss 'isolationist-exiles' having been satisfied simply by watching your nifty/colorful TV shows like Knight-Rider or Star-Trek; I trust you'll return to the arms of your beloved New England schoolteacher, a 'lover' of Facebook-IQ (good fortune(s))?

AMERICAN PRESIDENT: We congratulate you Amlan for this historic record of lunar-imagination affording you a 'hieroglyph-IQ.'

DIARY-ENTRY (Amlan Satan): My Calgary ice-hockey season flourishes, and my wife has been poking me on Facebook; life-IQ.
