A great man of DC (Earth) was a former Arkansas political-media figure before becoming an iconic people's-man president of the United States, and Arkansas would see some red-tide cheer(s) for college athletics in 1994 when it challenged the mighty Blue Devils in the national championship in the media-broadcast era.

Duke had a solid lead in the 2nd half before the triumphant Arkansas team came storming back and hit a heart-breaking late-game shot to seal their national title and dash the Blue Devils' claim to a continuing early '90s winning-run cheer(s) which it'd not see until the new millennium.
