Chinatown (SF/CA/US) is host to underworld dark woe, and Alas/Stan are detectives hunting for forms of romanticized digits.

"
A Chinatown crime-fable inspired by the storyboards from the video-game Mortal Kombat X. Enjoy,

Chinatown (San Francisco, CA) was a place of unusual toy-cyber markets and some pretty strange Interpol-intrigue involving blood-diamond traffic from the United Kingdom (Northern Ireland), despite its otherwise colored/flavored ethnic cuisine and arts.

BAI_LING: I like the strangeness of Chinatown at night, but night-pirates with gem-boxes from Belfast now offer only fears.

Enter the double-dragon detective-force (Interpol-relations!) of Stan and Alas, Asian-American graduates of Stanford who seek a new form of Chinatown-SF justice with monitors for toy-markets with merchants/operators tied to blood-diamond traffickers. Stan/Alas have been using Bai-Ling's advice to track piracy-gems going through toy-stores and the public arcade inside Chinatown!

STAN: If only it were as 'simple' as yesteryear-IQ for machinery imaginarium dialogue regarding sullying of store-silos.
ALAS: Yeah, the mafia-aesthetic had been somewhat replaced by an emerged Western street-demon syndicate tech-IQ.

POLICE-CHIEF: If you don't 'stop-loss' the piracy-gem traffic (Belfast, Brussels), the arcade/stores will look chemical-deep!

Stan/Alas had been using special sci-fi media posters/flyers on Chinatown store-fronts and posts and inside the arcade-center bulletin-board to market special ads/messages like, "Interpol offering holiday Xenomorph alien-games arts for youngsters weary of the crime in Chinatown!"

The head-honcho of all this blood-diamond hellfire which has Chinatown local-maidservant (Bai-Ling) shaky is Dr. No who's got a special restaurant 'lair' inside the ethnic business city in North America and invites any 'detective-challenger' of defiance to play him in chess. Alas has agreed to the challenge, since Stan was informed Dr. No's a chess-man and knew of Alas' Stanford Chess-Club experiences. When Alas manages a 'cool' rook-bishop maneuver stalemate-condition against Dr. No inside a restaurant formerly operated by Bai-Ling's girlfriend's murdered father (Yang), Peking Stix, Dr. No offers the ambitious Interpol-relations Chinatown detective a special 'deal' to leave Chinatown to work in Belfast only.

DR. NO: Won't you consider the 'sectarian' depths of Belfast diamonds-work, detective?
ALAS: Are you tempting me with a 'detective' road-map to Euro-depths of Interpol-work for network-IQ?
DR. NO: I'm not merely a 'villain' as you think but also a 'sage' of the world-inquiry market, detective!
ALAS: Hey, I understand the modern crime aura and why 'villains' are suddenly 'sages' too, but Belfast's far-away.
DR. NO: This stalemate-chess condition with the likes of me certainly warrants some 'treaty' between us, detective.
ALAS: Sure...how about I co-manage one of the toy-stores you're 'rumored' to be using for blood-diamond smugglers.
DR. NO: Alright; I should think of you as some 'video-game' avatar like Raiden (god of lightning!).
ALAS: Ha; maybe there's 'room' for art for many kinds of modern North American doctorates, eh?

INTERPOL: Blood-diamond corruption today threatens the world-gem exchange and makes terrorism woe!

DIARY-ENTRY (Stan): With this terrific chess-IQ win for Alas, I can take Bai-Ling to the toy-store and get her things (for us!).

BAI_LING: I'll craft a special Mortal Kombat X arcade avatar occasion for Stan using Tanya (Egyptian war-queen); love-potion!

ALAS: I don't trust Dr. No farther than I can launch him; Tanya-Stan arcade vision's merit; at least there's no Nazi-Martians.
