A pensive/sentimental Earth-king is visited by a challenging Martian-alien who wishes to cast chess-play as a form of intelligence-differential(s).

A great and mysterious Earth-king named Amlan was visited by a Martian (alien!) named Endymion who wished to challenge his private divine mastery over the strategy board-game chess, a game involving two sides of offense-defense pieces of varied shape/movement arrayed and positioned to capture the opponent's monarch-piece with lines/diagonals of teamwork or individual strike while defending one's own monarch-piece with walls/lines of piece-oriented defense shaping. The king, Amlan, was told by this eerie insect-dragon alien 'being' (Endymion!) that chess was a form of 'intellect' negotiation and would require a truly 'gifted' monarch/king of Earth (like Amlan) to re-present the 'IQ' of chess as a way to chat about intelligence itself and perhaps the complications of governance. The game would ensue therefore.

KING: You've crossed into Earth-realm through some 'magical' portal of some kind, perhaps of 'Egyptian' design/potency?

ALIEN: Indeed; this mystery-portal which has made our chess-IQ engagement possible, Earth-monarch, is called Stargate!

The Earth-king Amlan challenged the alien (Endymion) to draw a stalemate against him in chess-play, since the visiting alien seemed intent to prove/orient chess gameplay as a method of inter-species chat/negotiation in the known universe! Amlan wanted to boast his love of the game-pieces themselves, while Endymion (the alien) wished to negotiate the 'ideation' of strategic chess as a diagrammatic casting of the forms of intellect. This was therefore a game between an idea of libertine wisdom, favored by Earth-king Amlan, and the notion of intellect as war-imagination or governance-IQ complexity, favored by the visiting alien-insect dragon 'begin' Endymion.

KING: There's much intrigue in the human civilization 'cast' by symbolic chess, no?
ALIEN: Indeed, Earth-monarch, for chess is an intellect-casting of the complexity of behaviors.
KING: Each piece may represent a governing agent, warlord, decision-maker, or thinker of civilization!
ALIEN: Indeed, Earth-monarch, for the arrays of pieces-by-position illuminate the special magic of intellectual process!
KING: Well, let me relay to you my special love of the pawns and how they may complement the bishop(s) or king in play.
ALIEN: Sure...I myself consider pawns sacrifices for the greater more daring advances of the queen or knight for showcase!
KING: We'd see how the chess orientations in gameplay may reveal the strange IQ of socialized intrigue in civilization then.
ALIEN: Sure...I myself think about how socialized behaviors are 'cast' in chess-play as forms of intellect-in-motion, monarch.
KING: Great; let's indicate how I'd prefer a conservative method of rook-bishop double-line offense to balance 'wild' marches!
ALIEN: Excellence; perhaps I'll use a queen-knight and pawn tandem-play to reveal the strangeness of unpredictability.
KING: It seems my more conservative method of casting chess-gaming for 'beauty' complements your method of 'style' vanity.
ALIEN: I agree!
KING: I might 'conjecture' that we'd draw an 'excellent' stalemate-condition (draw-tie no-win decision) casting future dreams.
ALIEN: Sure...we're equally versed it seems in the translation of chess-intellect to the simplified 'magic' of living minds!
KING: Perhaps in the future, they'll make chess-shaped star-cookies for edible celebration in our memory, Alien Endymion.
ALIEN: Perhaps in such a 'dreamt' future, you'd find me 'hiding' in an Earth-ocean abyss niche as an isolationist-exile (peace).
KING: Isn't that the 'true' goal of real chess-play, Endymion --- 'wild' delicacy?
ALIEN: Maybe...maybe.

Thus, the Earth-king (Amlan) and the visiting eerie/Machiavellian alien from Mars (Endymion) used chess-stalemate diagrammatic thinking to cast futuristic ideas or visions of intelligence/imagination regarding intrigue or danger and peace or worry. Chess indeed reflected the realism of the mind, and these two 'great' minds of the known universe used their stalemate-conditions in chess-play, a tie or match or no-win decision, to propose to each other 'complementary' ideas for beauty and danger to create dialogue about species controls or drama!

KING AMLAN: Perhaps in the future of Earth, gems/treasures will be cast as dangerous articles of intrigue threatening minds.

ALIEN ENDYMION: The vastness of space doesn't negate the frailty of life and the presence of death requiring mental dating!

What may be learned from this governance/psyche evaluation cast by this 'fantastic' encounter between an Earth-king of mental pensiveness (Amlan) and a Martian-alien (Endymion) of Machiavellian precision-thinking and is that chess-play illuminates socialized magic (war/peace) cast by behavior and minds simply/purely because the mind is its own place and in of itself can make a castle out of sand...and shards out of distance(s)!
