==== I'd been working at the Salk Institute developing special chess-cognition algorithms for A.I. design when something very unusual happened to me regarding an alien encounter which was hardly anything I'd be able to cast/re-present on my Facebook-IQ page. ![]() The encounter was with an insect-dragon being from Mars called Red-Xenomorph ('RX') which claimed it was visiting Earth just to challenge me in a game of chess-play. I wondered if it was interested in my A.I.-cognition sciences work but it explained all it really wanted was a method of presentation for the idea of a chess-dare, just to see if I'd be able to create a stalemate-condition against him! ![]() The alien showed me some strange alien ground-ball games with his special/magic toys and balls and kits and I explained some of the intriguing games at least reminded me of human-world games and toys like Pogo and Carrom but that they seemed mostly 'alien' to me (ha). However, he insisted that the essence of games-imagination went to the heart of intelligence and the intuition of shared-space for behavioral configurations of customs-driven 'friendship' of personality-based freeplay. I asked him what 'freeplay' meant and he explained it was a manner of choreographing the mind to cast images of purified dance of self-expression for competition-driven insight. I knew then this was no dumb alien, this eerie-looking Red-Xenomorph and that his balls/games/toys were 'symbols' of his pure interests in engaging forms of simplified ambition! ![]() He demanded we play chess together and that I be able to draw a stalemate-condition against him, and I explained that I'd always played chess by myself and he retorted that was the precise reason he wished to see if I'd be able/willing to draw a stalemate-condition against his style of daring queen-knight piece combos of 'freeplay' dynamics. Fortunately, I managed to create a 'micro-miracle' stalemate condition using rook-bishop 'double-lines' of responsive orientations of side-team position securities! ![]() What I'll remember most about this haunting encounter was my overall impression that the intention of this strange Martian was to create a competition-scenario in which stalemate was the end-all requisition, and that if I failed, he just might've justified an invasion-clause for his visitation but then conceded to some kind of sage-like isolationist-exile (perhaps on a mystery island!). That's all really. ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2022 Abishai100 |
