A 'Royal' Exhibition!A Story by Abishai100Narrated presentation of sports-cards joy and a community-focused art-showcase of what makes baseball 'incompletely' dashing.
A sports-fanfare diorama inspired by Mr. Destiny (Michael Caine). Enjoy,

==== The art-museum in Kansas City had offered me a special proposition to showcase two American sports-treasures, Ben Zobrist baseball-cards, one a rookie and the other a Royals card, in the era when he'd been part of the World Series winning team, the first time Kansas City had brought home the triumph in 30 years! ![]() My name's Amlan Satan and I consider myself a special aficionado of American baseball-cards, and I've got some pretty terrific cards/sets including the 1986 Topps-Traded set and the 2015 Royals Topps team-set. These are terrific card-sets, but I've got excellent individual cards from the modern-era too, including the Ken Griffey (Jr.) rookie, Bo Jackson rookie, Barry Bonds rookie and John Olerud rookie cards. Some consider me a wonderful cards-collector, which is why the Kansas City museum had invited me to showcase my 'hometown' collection for a 'community-based' exhibition for Facebook-IQ in the summer of 2022. ![]() Sure, I've got great cards, but my Ben Zobrist Topps Royals card is one of the best and one of my favorites! Sure, it's not a Honus Wagner, or a Babe Ruth, but if you're a Royals-fan like me, you'll appreciate why it might belong in a fantastic art-museum exhibition for community-cheers, like the one this summer (2022)! ![]() My Zobrist-rookie card is also one of the best, but in my estimate(s), it's not as 'cool' as the Royals-Zobrist card. Ben Zobrist didn't start-out in Kansas City so his rookie-card isn't of that color, but fans in this town appreciate the 'celebrity' of the World Series man, so I'd consider it another 'laurel' in my collection, worthy of this art-exhibition this summer (ha!). ![]() Maybe I've become something of a 'mad-scientist' of Royals-cards and baseball spirits/fanfare, and in fact, my secret, I've got a super-beautiful Royals mannequin figurine in my back-porch alongside one of my Alien sci-fi media-franchise sculptures. This is considered one of the best nations to collect 'treasures' of the imagination for imaginarium consciousness, and I'd say my Royals-lady is one of the best trophies out there only inferior to the Statue of Liberty. ![]() Inside the Kansas-City art museum, you'll find the welcoming atmosphere appropriate for what makes art-collections/exhibits so wonderful, even in consumerism-loaded United States! This is a place of media/TV and sports-clubs, and my cards have made the 'grade' for this community 'event' which will thrill my Facebook-pals (ha!). ![]() After 9/11, the world was shocked to the reality that America was simply not 'immune' from the modern Hell-mouths of malady and turbulence, but we still have baseball (hmm). ![]() The Alien sci-fi horror franchise sculpture I've got in my back-porch to complement some of my other 'home-life' art trophies or sports-diamonds reminds me what makes human imagination so splendidly unique or note-worthy or news-worthy --- it's the 'magic' of dance. ![]() Would I sell my cards-collection for pure gold? I doubt it. However, despite the 'truth' that my cards haven't made me rich/famous, they illuminate something inside me --- a singularly pure fascination with the 'dollars' of the game! That's all. ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2022 Abishai100 |
