Brain-Cane: Gambit DipoleA Story by Abishai100A 'fantastic' Chicago-defense fable about chess, invasion, exile, and celebrity, prompted by social-media ideations of 'great' distance.
A tribute to the 'uncanny' X-Men (Marvel Comics). Thanks for reading,

==== The Windy-City (Chicago) was suddenly beset by the alien-invasion concocted by the evil general-mastermind Mr. Sinister who'd employ his inconquerable robotic legion of super-strong drones ('Sentinels') to enslave the city while pouncing with their invisibility-powers every Saturday sunset! ![]() MISTER SINISTER: No one can defy/stand and all will shudder at the might of an overwhelming 'force' of undoubted darkness. ![]() His human-world 'mutant' ally/villainess was none-other than the eerie and chemically-deformed ministress of acid-gun use, Mystique, who'd break into the Chicago mayor's office and take his family hostage while Sinister concocted this horrid invasion only meant to create an undeniable impression of American urban disintegration, all in the name of 'cinematic' fascism! ![]() However, our beloved unit of 'super' ingenuity driven vigilante heroists, known as the uncanny X-Men, led by Gambit, Cyclops, Rogue, and Storm, had 'sensed' this alien invasion concocted by Mr. Sinister and set about planning a media-presented 'humiliation' of the entire agenda, to unite all the minds in a 'fashion' for world-IQ. Gambit, the wiliest member of the hero-force, decided to post Facebook photos of himself challenging invisible alien Sinister in a game of 'chess' which, if led to a stalemate-condition (tie/win/no-win decision), would 'mandate' the peace-treaty of sovereignty defense(s) requiring Sinister and his Sentinels and Mystique to resign/retreat deep into the Earth-ocean abyss as isolationist-exiles (forever!). Gambit commented, "If stalemate-chess condition(s) warrant a socialized perception of 'lyrical' strategic game-board play piece-position movement humilities, the resulting tie/draw should facilitate all kinds of 'fun' Facebook-IQ commentary regarding the general spirit(s) of the Windy-City...and why'd we all consider it a 'game-center' for youth-design(s)!" ![]() MISTER SINISTER: I feel 'fury' at this public statement of stalemate/draw condition chess-IQ gameplay requiring sovereignty. ![]() ROGUE: Do you think that evil Sinister will warrant a stalemate/draw condition(s)-based retreat into the ocean-abyss (exile)? STORM: I think Gambit's concocted a rather 'bright' response to this horrid city-alien invasion, but he's got to make the draw! ![]() CYCLOPS: I've always known my bud Gambit to be a hero-man of great lyric(s), but this chess-draw/stalemate IQ is worldly! ![]() MYSTIQUE: The Sentinel-force/legion stands ready to relentlessly destroy, so Gambit needs 'dipole' draw (stalemate?) for IQ. ![]() Gambit meanwhile hoisted his public cyber-chess gameplay against the dark Sinister, and everyone watched as Gambit used wit(s) to use a rook-bishop double-line offense-array balance line to counter Sinister's 'furious' queen-knight advance method(s) and ironically/miraculously drew a rather 'magical' stalemate-draw result(s) process, hailing the chess-IQ as a 'magnificent' form of socialized dance...and it was all Facebook detention! ![]() MISTER SINISTER: Despite humbling stalemate-draw orchestra in Chicago, my Sentinels still created invisible arson (damn). ![]() ROGUE: Goodness, those Sentinels alongside Sinister/Mystique resigned to the ocean-abyss as exiles (after all!); Gambit won. STORM: We can take that Windy-City school-guide field-trip to the Aquarium and celebrate the defense of Earth-IQ, sweet. ![]() CYCLOPS: All I know is, chess-IQ didn't require us to learn chess, but it sure generated fans (secured Chicago consumers)! ![]() GAMBIT: Me thinks I'll take my darlin' (Desdemona) to that new Alien: Covenant film to 'celebrate' sci-fi misadventure story! ![]() MISTER SINISTER: I remain with my 'dark-army' in the ocean-abyss as exiles (forever!); but it's all only possible by chess-brain. ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2022 Abishai100 |
