Chess-DecoderA Story by Abishai100Portrait of a man whose obsession with chess colors his life and (arguably!) those around him.
A random/nice chess-diary. Enjoy,

==== Amlan Satan is a prince in British Columbia who likes making pirate-adventure tales on cyber-forums involving dastardly pirates challenging all kinds of 'characters' in chess-play, drawing ties and stalemate conditions with the most dastardly of these characters. ![]() He carried with him a special Toy-Story crafted children's (perfectly-functioning!) chess-set which reminds him why the intriguing piece-position movement array strategy board-game gives him tremendous mental/spiritual satisfaction about the composition of consciousness and intelligence and interaction(s) with other minds! In other words, it's why his online short-stories are about 'dastardly pirates' challenging dastardly characters for chess-wrought Earth doctoring! ![]() AMLAN SATAN: When I'm not thinking of chess/tales, I'm found at a nearby cemetery where I offer Catholic prayers for Earth. ![]() His son (Damian) likes to enjoy special cyber-access to comics-oriented vigilantism 'characters' and romanticism-doodles/figurines which remind him of the splendors of personality and adventure, not unlike his father (Amlan), but the son in this case has no real interest in chess but rather in the demonstrative re-presentations of 'real' duty. ![]() AMLAN SATAN: Me thinks Damian (son) will someday have lofty space-travel dreams/imaginations for humanity's diary. ![]() When Satan made his son a batch of chess-men designed butter-cake cookies/pastries for Easter in British Columbia (North America), he asked him what he'd think of enrolling him in a special new chess-club in Vancouver, which infuriated Damian, and Satan would remember this 'account' as a testament to what would make chess-IQ/imagination (ultimately) a thing of great 'private' distance(s) for him (and/or his divergent son). ![]() DAMIAN: Finally...dad met nice woman at super-market; I'm nudging him to find love (since the divorce) and forget chess! ![]() "The beauty of chess is it can be whatever you want it to be. It transcends language, age, race, religion, politics, gender, and socioeconomic background. Whatever your circumstances, anyone can enjoy a good fight to the death over the chess board" (Simon Williams). ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2022 Abishai100 |
