Amlan Satan ('Storm-Shadow') had become a respected chess competitor on Facebook, a useful modern game-convenience for casual or even serious chess-fans/players who wanted quick/satisfying access to online competition-pools for randomized chess-pairings between Facebook-members of comparable skill/ranking.

STORM-SHADOW: An alluring quality of chess-design is the array of horse-shaped 'knight' pieces moving in L-shapes for design!

While visiting the Duke chess photo-event in the United States as a special fan-circle choreographed event for Facebook-IQ, Storm-Shadow met an alluring and beautiful Eastern-European woman named Ana who explained she was touring the Americas in search of social chess activity. He told her about those strange folks and interesting folks who play chess in the city park(s).

ANA: Are you a fan of those butter-flavored chess-pieces shaped baked cookies (supermarket brands, etc.)?
STORM-SHADOW: Oh yes, the Pepperidge-Farm variety is considered 'supremo' in the United States (supermarket brand).

Amlan/Ana got married and had a daughter Ezzy and bought her a terrific kids' baking set which Ana used to show how to make chessmen cookies (butter-flavored) for Easter and Thanksgiving.

ANA: Satan bought Ezzy a special Toy-Story chess-set in case her imaginative brain draws her to the strategy-shape(s) for IQ.

The release of a recent well-reviewed (mostly!) film about Cold War chess intrigue between the USA/USSR (Fischer-Spassky) renewed global-IQ interest in chess-politics symbolism and how the game casts ideations of peace-treaties and competition between nation-states and political ideologies and stalemate-derivations for 'serious' socialized distance(s).

ANA: Satan bought me this incredible Longines chess-piece studded wristwatch since I love horses (Kentucky Derby) for V-Day.

STORM-SHADOW (Amlan Satan): Now, as an adult in the West, I still love Facebook-chess, Richie-Rich, and Danishes!

When Ezzy got older, she decided to not invest in chess but in horse-artwork. She became a very respected horse-figurine artist, which she explained was an 'inheritance' of her father's love of the knight-piece in chess-game(s) and inspired her to make naturalist views on what comprises the 'quality' of animalia-driven human ideations of 'pure' distance(s).
