Pine Barrens of Dragons!

A strange misadventure regarding a navigating traveling extra-terrestrial alien called Predator allies with a human camper/writer (Amlan Satan) to corner/deconstruct the cryptic Jersey Devil.

A 'folkloric' dramatized inter-planetary mission-fable about the iconic/mythological Jersey Devil and the eerie mystery surrounding its 'home' in the dense Pine Barrens (New Jersey)!

In the deep dense forests of the mystery-filled Pine Barrens of New Jersey (United States), a strange cryptic creature of timeless legend was roaming around with stealth and great invisibility prowess and haunting history. This creature is the Jersey Devil, talked about and studied and pursued and even feared. It is said to exhibit qualities of animalia-ugliness, devil-like morphology/shape, and evolutionary oddity/anomaly. It was said to be born to a human mother who cursed at God for her pains and gave-forth an 'abomination' which would spawn a potential 'legion' of its own kind in the forest.

Now, faraway from Earth, a race of hunter-warrior aliens known as Predators prepared to visit Earth for a special navigation 'experiment' and were about to nest in the Pine Barrens forests and discover its 'ancient' secrets, but these electric-spear wielding man-sized Predator-aliens didn't know they'd soon find a new 'study-line' with this Jersey Devil mystery on Earth.

Amlan Satan is a camping-man in the Pine Barrens working on a story/novel concept about discovering metaphysical/superstition courage in the Pine Barrens, willing to camp, and perhaps to encounter the visage of the folkloric-IQ of the Jersey Devil, with all its eerie anti-Christian symbolism, scary appearance and sightings reports, and general paranoia surrounding what humans are capable of entertaining in this modern age of social-media driven magazine ideations.

AMLAN SATAN: I'll bring my Regal/Esposito work on the American history of the Jersey Devil to the Pine Barrens (for fire-log).

The strangest thing is the form of appearance the Devil (Jersey) brings to the Pine Barrens for those who've sighted it or claimed to have been attacked. It's got some victims, and perhaps they're people who've simply disappeared, and been bloody-murdered by the deformed-evolved haunting forest 'being' of the dark! In fact, one might argue what it really 'craves' because of the nature of these sightings is the sheer scope of an eternal Pine Barrens caging/prison!

Amlan Satan and the Predator alien both encountered the eerie Jersey Devil simultaneously in the Pine Barrens (New Jersey). The Predator alien had landed on the planet and begun to wander around for the experimental navigation mission and ran into Amlan Satan, the lone camper, who was shocked to see the alien but recognized its obvious comparable 'human-like' intelligence and sensibility, but the Jersey Devil, which Amlan just encountered, was nothing of a 'human-like' charm, and Amlan Satan requested the Predator-alien and he go searching together (a species-unifying hunt!) for this very scary anomaly of organic life.

PREDATOR (Alien): I've spotted it from the high-tree tops; I'm shooting/striking it with my laser-beam rod.

AMLAN SATAN (Human Ally): I see it; you shoot/send it hobbled/scurrying and I'll pop up from the ground with my acid-gun.

That's just what happened. The Predator-alien and Amlan Satan employed nifty weaponry, including an acid-gun Amlan put together using NaOH and a toy water-rifle in his car-trunk, to corner/hunt/and debilitate the Jersey Devil and then burnt it to ash with a special joint-species mantra which sent its soul to the bottomless pit of eternal invisibility. It therefore became a permanent 'exile' of the 'wilderness' of the Blue Planet!

Amlan went on to write his Pine Barrens novel which won him the Pulitzer, and the Predator-alien, a fiercely-intelligent being from a faraway planet consented with Satan (Amlan!) that the joint-success of their Jersey Devil 'prayer' warranted a peace-treaty between their two species and that no further Invasion-agenda would be sought on Earth for humankind, but that Amlan would have to keep their 'shared' achievement a complete secret (which he did of course!). Years later, Amlan Satan married his high-school sweetheart, Esmerelda, and always kept his 'dark' secret of the Pine Barrens.

PREDATOR (Alien): Do you think they'd say our heroics was a 'signpost' for wilderness-IQ or planetary excellence.

AMLAN SATAN: I hope not...after all, maybe the only monument to such a thing would be...a relic of superstition (only!).
