A Martian named Endymion hacked into the Facebook-chess portal of a human-prince chess-master named Amlan Satan. Satan liked playing chess on Facebook alone/privately, which is to say, he'd use a shifting set of identity-masking avatar-aliases so no one would know he was a skilled master of chess. Endymion found his style quite good and decided to challenge him to draw a stalemate-condition against him to see if the 'little prince' could warrant a humanity-pardon from Invasion agenda, after he proved human excellence in chess-intelligence stratagem, perhaps even for Facebook/storytelling blogging!

ENDYMION: I'm going ahead with a cool queen-knight advance for offense weight on one array of my board-side.

SATAN: Chess-IQ is about choreographed side-offense/defense balances, and I'll shift my rook-bishop pieces to create calm!

ENDYMION: Damn...that's quite good; seems you're drawing us towards that stalemate-condition I dared you to find originally.

SATAN: Awesome; this warrants that non-Invasion policy you offered as a promise, in exchange for a 'secret' Earth-residency!

It'd been known that stalemate-condition(s) in chess-play were reflective/symbolic of macro-scale human society mobilizations in politics/warfare, since the Cold War (USA-USSR) generated empire-axes of stratagem competition-consciousness that drew out all kinds of 'fantasy' regarding powerhouses of IQ leveraged against each other, culminating in an iconic chess-master 'battle' between Russian champ (Boris Spassky) and American star (Bobby Fischer). This drama-theater even inspired a major motion-picture in the United States!

Meanwhile, Endymion the Martian sought to use his special population brain-wave control device to choreograph a macro-species subjugation/transformation and reinvent moon-travel shuttle designs for future-IQ regarding inter-species confidence. All 'tidings' would eventually be based on chess-design(s).
