A tale of the human psyche, re-presented through 'fantastic' chess-play and inspired very loosely by the iconic Brian De Palma film Sisters (Margot Kidder). Hope you like it,

Two brothers were dating the same airline flight-attendant, a gorgeous young European woman named Tandy. They both found her lovely and amazing and developed their courtship-rituals with her and engendered real feelings of manhood and companionship...however, they'd remained unaware now that they'd both fallen in love with her. The brothers, twins, were as separate as night-and-day, and they both thought 'differently' about Tandy while remaining unaware of the odd parity, as Tandy kept everything secret. The brothers, Amlan/Ajay, liked collecting images/photos of airline flight-attendants/staff for their 'shared' travel-industry photo-art album(s)!

AMLAN: Tandy is fun and hip and liberal and reminds me of the joys of air-travel and she's professional and cool to me.

AJAY: As a dentist in Chicago, I find Tandy's visits welcomed/cherished; she's a great cook, and she reminds me of mom!

Amlan, a race-car driver, was very different from his twin-brother Ajay, a Chicago dentist of rather 'serious' and even nerdy demeanor. Amlan had developed into the proverbial 'wild-child' twin/sibling of the brotherly-pair, and Ajay the prototypical calming-effect 'sanity-fellow' of the pair. They both liked gifting Tandy red flowers whenever they saw her.

TANDY (Diary): The 'secret' here's these two fellows of my life remain unwilling to 'deal' with the possibility I love them both!

Tandy game up with a great plan --- she'd simulate a chess-match between the brothers when she'd visit them separately, apart from each other, during romantic engagements. She got herself a wonderful movie-themed chess-set and 'copied' each move of the other brother/twin, so they'd remain completely unaware they'd be playing each other, through her as the achieving/noting medium (secretly).

TANDY (Diary): I've ironically found the 'ideal' form of twin-separation chess-psychiatry for Amlan/Ajay and must now choose!

AMLAN: There's no way she (Tandy) loves you like me; I'm the spice in her life, brother.
AJAY: Forget it, 'Racer-X' of Spain; this is a world of 'wrought' self-determined 'chess' democracy (ha).
