A 'cool' fable about romanticism behind modern UK-politics and how/why a narrating writer might discover 'welcomed' diamonds!

"
A romantic Western civilization (UK) 'romanticism' oriented politics-life fable inspired loosely by the iconic/troubling and well-crafted modern film The Devil's Own (Alan J. Pakula), which I hope you like (and thanks for reading!),

I decided to travel to troubled-sectarian Northern Ireland (United Kingdom), where the poverty/underclass-division(s) driven angst between the Irish-Catholic minority-population and British-Protestant majority population created the schism(s) in the modern world Christian community that would draw any modern social journalist to create 'Facebook-IQ' friendly ideations of what comprises socialization imagination.

I took with me a copy of Barrie's Peter Pan & Wendy, confident that some of the allegorical flight-and-fight response-fantasy themes in the iconic/legendary work (a 'fantastic' flying-boy and his other-world pals befriending human youngsters in a 'crusade' against darkness) would lend themselves to ideations of human-group coexistence response/mobility and what inter-religious coexistence would mean for the 'dialogue' surrounding optimism towards globalism!

When I first met Shelbye O'Hara, I didn't know what to say/think. She'd been a female-captain of the 'Foreign Irish Republican Army' which recruited members around the world, mostly students, not necessarily Irish but usually/mostly Catholic in background/faith, who'd intercepted blood-diamond shipments flooding already-challenging Northern Ireland (UK) with piracy-traffic that confounded unemployment/poverty alleviation-policy politics chat(s) in the modern Parliament!

MS. O'HARA: The 'troubles' seeping into the gem-market exchange(s) make for piracy-IQ destroying 'chess' talks for poverty.

She was right; the piracy-traffic was worrying English leaders that gem-exchange(s) couldn't enhance the talks in Parliament regarding economics-driven coexistence reform progressive politics in the 'troubled'/sectarian area of Belfast (UK). We think of the long-standing 'history' of this Catholic-Protestant schism in Western civilization and may worry about the 'qualities' of cast artwork(s) of regional governance securities. Shelbye O'Hara gave me the new view(s) of advanced globalism that would complement my own (Dartmouth) studies about mainstream political majesty!

SHELBYE: It's almost like a 'toy-chess' game between the Irish and the British and the rogue factions emerging from darkness!
ME: That's incredible, Ms. O'Hara, and I confess this time with 'stalemate-condition(s)' chess-play has drawn me to you.
SHELBYE: This should add wonders to your special Belfast Journal.
ME: Maybe I'll 'enhance' it into a some 'cool' stalemate-chess novel someday...maybe with you as a 'romantic' character!
SHELBYE: Maybe I'm becoming your 'female' rendition of Peter Pan (or just Wendy)?

Shelbye and I got married, and I adapted my Belfast Journal into a Pulitzer-novel titled Dartmouth Effigy.
