Pirates-of-the-Deed(s): Raiders Division

A Story by Abishai100
"

A diorama of sports-fanfare and pirate-IQ and a descendant-pair of real old-world pirates who find Raiders-distances.

"
A fun toast to American football featuring pirate-lore/storytelling.
DISCLAIMER: I've no 'official' ties to the sports-organization/city mentioned in this work of culture-fanfiction and present this only/simply as an ideation of derivations.

The Raiders, with their iconic pirate-logo on their helmets, moved to the games-city of Vegas (United States) and drew in the fanfare of two US citizens (Amlan/Ezzy) who were real descendants of old-world pirates.

AMLAN: We're big fans of pirate-media and lore and classic stories, especially the one we all know/love.
EZZY: Yeah; the Stevenson work hails to the old world ideation of pirate-adventure which separates aliens from cowboys.

As the Raiders scheduled their new season, preparing to tackle the amazing new fleet of teams including the Rams and Vikings, Amlan/Ezzy were taking iPhone-shots of the team for special cyber-blogs about fanfare-moved (to a different symbolic US city).

AMLAN: The Raiders cheerleader(s) can sway any sports-fan and remind people why football is more dollar-rich than soccer.
EZZY: Yeah; soccer never made it huge in the United States the way American football has, and the Super Bowl is proof!

Amlan was descended from an old-world pirate named Tagmouth who was reputed to have performed daring raids on empire treasuries and was even mentioned in a Facebook-IQ chat, but maybe that was Amlan himself!

Ezzy is a pirate-dame descendant who enjoys things like Facebook-chess and making girlfriends on the cyber-net, which has really become a 'forum' for sports-fanfare and drinks-sharing (Ha).

EZZY: Amlan got me a special pirate-dame painting for V-Day, which was his way to tell me he wishes we'd time-travel back.

Amlan visited a Vegas cemetery to pour some ale on the tombstone of his late-father Emmit who, though not a pirate-descendant like his mother, reminded him why modern life required as much 'valor' as anything you'd cross in the iconic Stevenson eulogy to pirate-fantasies.

EZZY: You need enrichment, and this new Vegas-Xenomorph (Alien) sculpture-exhibit will remind you why sci-fi is not a toy.
AMLAN: Alright; you've got that special way to remind me why toys can be art too, darling.

Amlan/Ezzy attended a wedding in a Catholic church building in Vegas in the beginning of October, as the Raiders enjoyed much success and rolled into the Halloweentime period(s).

EZZY: There's something 'wed' between Halloween and pirate-art(s), and me thinks it's the Jack-'o-Lantern of old/new.
AMLAN: Ha.

PIRATE-DIARY (Entry): I got Ezzy these 'fantastic' Raiders-sox, and I think they'll remind her why we can't forget the past!

Amlan wondered if there'd be an alien-invasion of Earth (by Martians/Xenomorphs) and if such an invasion-imagination would require a daring world-man like himself to challenge an invader-alien, a real dragon, to a stalemate-condition(s) chess-match, perhaps utilizing a rook-bishop combo to counter the alien's offensive queen-knight design(s). That's the mind of a pirate --- chess-IQ dance or democracy (certainly!).

RAIDERS FANZINE: The team's off to a thrilling start as we 'roll' into Halloween, and fans wonder if Earth's becoming rounded.
