Post-Apocalypse 'dharma' (cosmic-law for social-order!) directs diplomatic distance(s) between moonbase humans...and a 'chess' Martian!

The Earth was beset by the horrid World-War (nuclear) which generated not only much multi-national flowery and flags but also devastation of populations and property and the human society had to be now reoriented/reinvented for endurance and intelligence.

The survivors were part of a new Weyland Company enterprise in North America involving the erection of a special moonbase where people from all backgrounds would serve as endurance diplomats, armed for defense against a potential alien-invasion on the moon, with acid-guns and laser-goggles.

The head of Weyland Company invoked images of humanity's great science-fiction stories/images from pre-War history and encouraged the moonbase diplomats/soldiers and media-audience(s) to consider why constructions of alien-intelligence morphology by human society may very well reflect real alien species visage/appearance though they'd merely been forms of 'psyche' media/cinema entertainment on Earth!

WEYLAND: The moonbase is a great achievement for Earth/humanity, and the interior is occupied/defended by multiples.

One of the diplomats is Amlan Satan, World-War survivor in Europe and ex-member of the 'Foreign Irish Republican Army' in Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) which was composed of non-Irish Catholic members (students/soldiers) drawn from around the globe for blood-diamond piracy infiltration(s) and very skilled in strategy (guerrilla!) and urban warfare/intervention as well as economics-driven political intelligence(s). As a survivor of the great War on Earth, Satan (Amlan) considered his role on the moonbase reflective of the human ideation(s) of great species-IQ and pre-War Facebook-chess oriented democracy optimism!

Another moonbase diplomat, a Canadian-American professor of military history named Ezzy, tied to Dartmouth/CalTech, was training to become an excellence-messenger in acid-gun warfare and defense against any 'hostile' alien-contact/encounter. She considered this post-War 'exercise' in species-optimism a pre-War Facebook-culture oriented 'celebration' of what marks human distance(s).

Another diplomat/soldier of the post-War moonbase, Thomas Hewitt, was an ace-pilot for the United States and now hoped to hone his space-trained skills to foster moon-life as well as security/defense for media-presentations and TV-flowery back on Earth, and incidentally he'd become an 'avid-fan' of patriotics-films (Top Gun).

AMLAN: I've got this space-age robot-themed crafty chess-set to derive special rook-bishop arrays of species-IQ strategies!
EZZY: Cool, bud; maybe we'll encounter a visiting Martian who happens to think 'human chess' is way out there, eh?
TOM: Ha; maybe this "Martian" will think this robotics-chess set is simply an artwork for human distance!

Their 'wish' humor came to life when a Martian landed on the moon and greeted the post-War human diplomats on the moonbase and named it Dartmouth. This alien-dragon, 'Endymion' (apparent self-named), suggested that he and Amlan Satan (former UK-infiltrations expert) draw a stalemate-condition(s) chess-match with him, which Satan achieved (by miracle!).

ENDYMION: How'd you conceive you conceived/achieved this stalemate?
SATAN: By miracle/strategy (of course), Endymion.

ENDYMION: Excellence...I'll leave you with a 'drawn' print from your pre-War nature-artwork(s).

SATAN: Damn.

WEYLAND: This was a most 'unusual' occurrence at 'Dartmouth' and moves us to post-War Earth-media flowery for 'chess'-IQ!
