Amlan/Ajay compete with tennis/chess but may need 'real' resolution upon a human-race erection of a 'doom' triangle!

"
A tale of what makes competition borderline 'd' for the iconic human-race, inspired very loosely by Pawn Sacrifice (Ed Zwick). Thanks for reading,

Two brothers were heavily competitive at tennis/chess and decided this rivalry cast special ideations of what made competitiveness a thing of hellfire and salvation, equally/ironically. The brothers, Amlan/Ajay, were Dartmouth grads who'd been parting ways and sought differing lives, one a race-car driver and the other a dentist. Both were fans of Wimbledon.

AMLAN: You use a cool rook-bishop double-play to counter my queen-knight advances of great offensive insight, bro.
AJAY: Thanks; I can see you like to use your queen a lot, which is idealized for self-check speed-daring games; your style!

Amlan considered tennis/chess branches of great courage and intrigue, while the more conservative/dentist brother Ajay considered tennis/chess simply a re-presentation of human consciousness, which made their rivalry all the more democratic, arguably.

AMLAN: I made you this awesome 'Evil Elf' capitalism-avatar comic-doodle, bro.
AJAY: Cool; well, I suppose it'd remind me why our singular rivalry casts special ideations about Xmas-toys, right?

All was well in Paradise until the bros realized they'd fallen in love with the same woman, an Irish-Catholic Dartmouth linguist-prof who'd been an 'avid-fan' of Bobby Fischer (chess-celebrity) and was writing a book about how chess might bridge distance(s) between minds/communications.

PROFESSOR O'HARA: Dartmouth is the haven for intelligentsia-diagrams of competition-consciousness of the human race.

AMLAN: Perhaps a 'tea-stalemate' cyber-chat is what we need to resolve this argument/rivalry over our competing triangle.
AJAY: I can take tennis and chess stalemate(s)...but not for the human quotient of 'democracy' on Earth, Amlan (fine!).

Would the brothers now play a 'death-match' of chess to see if a stalemate-condition or resolution would be possible over this horridly 'evil' love-triangle with the gorgeous Dartmouth linguist for whom the bros had now driven a wedge in the heart? Some might say the 'quality' of this sibling-rivalry highlighted something 'truly' dark about the contour(s) of species-depression. What do you think?
