Colonel James travels into Earth-future and discovers a human-resistance in post-WW landscapes dominated by mutated ape-beings of chess-IQ.

Colonel James traveled through time, into the future of Earth following the cessation of the Coronavirus tribulation using the new US time-portal discovered in Ancient Egypt by archeologists, and he flew a shuttle through the portal to reach the distant time-zone in our solar-system.

COLONEL JAMES: My goodness, Earth 1000 years into the future looks way different in terms of Pangea-evolution/continents!

He'd been reared by world-leaders and mostly American government counselors to travel into the future as a special messenger with time-capsule information regarding the Coronavirus quarantine/tribulation(s) and bring back any record(s) of future-accounts/records of man's future storyboards regarding the final 'transcendence' of this experience of the human race, which had casted many images about uniformed diligence on social-media in the early 21st-Century.

COLONEL JAMES: I immediately recognized the Salk Institute, still standing, but way more developed/revised wandering Cali!

The planet was desolate, and everyone, he discovered was living underground and only came above the surface for work, to commute to institutions like the Salk, which had been converted into function-specific sites which were then sealed and 'abandoned' for night-time underground retreats. He met the Earth-captain of the human survivors of the Great Transformation, during which radiation from the World War III 'event' transformed half the survivors into intelligent hairy de-evolved but more intelligent man-sized upright muscular ape-creatures called Centurions. This human survivor captain, one of the few still 'human' in totality, was Amlan Satan, an ex-cop and now diplomat of the survivor science funding body known as FaceWorld (FW).

CAPTAIN SATAN: We're enduring this New Earth with forms of vigor/lore, and my wife uses FaceWorld tech-toys (youth-chess).

FaceWorld human survivors endured the complete domination of the overground surface of Earth by the cave-dwelling 'Centurions' (ape-creatures of human size after the Great Transformation!) by scavenging for what they considered the last 'vestige' of Earth's sacred glow, the precious/rare ocean-crystals which they called Pawns. Of course, FaceWorld leader Satan had the most impressive collection of Pawns in his underground survivor-fortress called the Dartmouth.

COLONEL JAMES: How'd you endure this brand of species-subjugation, Amlan?
SATAN: Well...we keep head(s)-up and bright about human activity, especially chess, as 'standards'/diadems of defiance!

COLONEL JAMES: And these 'Centurion' ape-beings are basically the Goliath-rulers of Earth now, following this Transformation?

SATAN: Excellence; precision in savage intelligence and subjugation of the will despite the FaceWorld chess-defiance.

COLONEL JAMES: What's the hope now, after so much 'history'/lore of human evolution (on Earth)?

SATAN: I seek to someday/somehow challenge the Centurion ape-general/commander Caesar (in chess!) for sovereignty!

CAESAR: I'll play this braggart/upstart Satan (Amlan) in ape-Earth chess-challenge; when Heavens fall or his survivors bow.

SATAN: We'll see if this ape-tyrant can stand the patience-of-time despite the FaceWorld will to use Caesar's own chess-toys!

COLONEL JAMES (Diary): We 'doubt' this FaceWorld total-defiance will yield triumph before endured heartbreak, for science.

CAESAR: If FaceWorld/humanity survives this 'Phase' of Earth-time, I doubt 'time-travelers' boast of species-chess creativity!
