No one knew Ares, god of war, was both male-female, and the deity decided to descend on Earth during Halloween in the Earth-town of Haddonfield (New Jersey, United States) where female-centurion dolls/figurines (which resembled the female-version of Ares!) were being sold like hotcakes.

ARES: I'll become a male Algerian-American prince ('Amlan Satan)' in Haddonfield and become Ichabod Crane for Facebook.

Now, we all know Haddonfield is an iconic smalltown on Earth, but for the United States, it's where the autumn-lore of the eerie Headless Horseman, an axe-wielding Halloween 'specter' on horseback but without corpse-head decapitates random wandering travelers like Ichabod Crane, the iconic folkloric traveling schoolteacher in a town called Sleepy Hollow who'd been stalked by the dangerous zombie-horseman. Well, 'Amlan Satan' (Ares!) was now like 'Ichabod Crane' in Haddonfield that Halloween-season searching for 'signs' of the Horseman.

'AMLAN SATAN' (Ares): I'll don a special 'cinematic' Halloween costume/mask/hat and claim in Haddonfield I'm Ichabod Crane.

HEADLESS HORSEMAN: You dare invoke my spectral spirit this Halloween in a sleepy-town (Haddonfield), Mr. Satan?
AMLAN SATAN: Well, sure; I mean, I knew of your lore, Horseman, and now I seek a Facebook-selfie or perhaps chess-dare!

HEADLESS HORSEMAN: I care nothing for 'chess' IQ and shall launch this Jack-'o-Lantern at your puny skull, prince Amlan.

AMLAN SATAN: No, no, no; let's consider the ideation(s) of stalemate-chess as 'alternative' to death/darkness, Horseman!

HEADLESS HORSEMAN: Wow...I'll spare you (if for this 'eccentric' gesture of Haddonfield Facebook-chess theatrics).

Ares ('Amlan Satan') was so excited to be infused into Earth-mysticism that he purchased a handheld combat-game and imagined he'd be challenging the Horseman's 'spirit(s)' in the game, casting himself as an electric-warrior against the Horseman as a monster-decapitator of some kind, a Gargoyle.

AMLAN SATAN: I'll post online, "My visage against the Horseman in this video-game reminds us of the Halloween-soul(s)."

Ares had done it. He'd become a 'real' human in a smalltown on Earth (Haddonfield), celebrating all the magic and 'chess-IQ' of lore and daring and mystical storytelling and activity for Halloweentime. That's when an adversarial Haddonfield witch (Hazel) identified this 'prince' who reminded her of Ichabod Crane and asked him while he'd been sitting on a town bench that October playing his handheld video-game, "Are you Ichabod Crane with that video-game, young prince?"

ARES: No, Hazel; I'm merely a 'witness' of all that's splendid about Haddonfield/Earth for autumn, but perhaps you're my lady.

When Ares returned to the heavens, the deity wrote in a journal, "The deep religion of mankind on Earth and in towns like Haddonfield is one of purified distance(s)...and darkness."
